There are several little technical things that bother me about this, but I was honestly lucky to get the little butterfly in focus with light on it. Some days that's all you can hope for. lol...She was waving that thing around like crazy, first chanting, "flower"...than "fly, fly"...So sweet.

No, really, that is what members of the Diptera family Pallopteridae are called: Flutter flies. This one is Toxonevra superba. It waves its boldly-marked wings alternately as it walks. Leavenworth, Kansas, USA, November 3, 2022.
If you listen closely you can hear the flutter....butterfly wings floating through your daydreams...

You see pictures of Tiger's Nest for years and have this huge craving to visit it. All that feeling was replaced by a full set of different emotions with the ligament injury. Will I ever make it up top with an injured ankle.
Two months before reaching Bhutan had been about only one thing, get the leg into good enough shape to be able to get to Taktsang. So this was one experience that I will never forget. It taught me much about myself. With the view of the precariously perched monastery all through your trek up, there is no other energy required to pull you up to it.
