Some high clouds ahead are forcing me to descend early. Want to get low for a better view of the Leeward Islands but not so soon
Continuing north along the Leeward Islands reaching the southern tip of St Lucia in the West Indies. To the left of my nose and above my left wing is the lights from an airplane on approach
I don't remember why I sped up here, likely an IRL timing issue to get me there before I had to leave the house. Reducing my error margin a bit but I know from past experience this will still leave me one go-around if needed
I've replaced the END (endurance) with DTG (distance to ground) so I can see the total trip length when I have multiple legs and don't need endurance time since I have the range ring on my map display
It's a bit dark inside the cockpit when you're flying into the sun so turning up the panel lights a bit which was when I realized the oxygen was still deployed from over 3hrs ago. Derp

Fuel situation still "good" - as in I could slow down and move out my reserve ring but I'm within my range ring so I'll be fine - right? RIght. Note how my tail wind has lost its gusto by now
Coming around on downwind. My gear is up and I raised my flaps lever but I failed to check if I actually raised it high enough to trigger the flaps back to T/O position, I did not and went through the whole pattern with flaps set to LDG. Derp. I'm also starting to sweat as fuel low warnings have come on
