Choosing another landing area, Andrew was the first casualty. I quickly followed as I had slowed down to watch his attempt and when I tried to pull up and climb I accidentally lowered my flaps more instead of raising them, stalled out and winged over into the mountainside. SPLAT!

Looking back on what has to be Hvannadalshnúkur standing tall in the distance but I thought it was a different mountain more inland. I can't find a suitable candidate though looking at the maps
What looks like an airfield at the end of Summit Lake but nothing is there officially - still seems like a workable landing site - of course who knows whats under that snow...
Andrew had trouble using his throttle in the C172 so he switch to a Robin that reportedly had 120kts cruising speed but here we are poking along at 60kts full throttle :P
5nm out coming off AP and turning away from the airport to enter the pattern on downwind for a left base approach as instructed by ATC
Problem resolved itself shortly after I leveled off - I guess I was just climbing too fast for the pressurization system to keep up. Noted!
Cruising over the Nooksack River, heavy with sediment washed down from the mountains. Also note just in front of my nose the small private airfield of Westwind
Didn't think to look at the map before turning around believing I had flown past the entrance to the marina
Managed to shut down and float almost perfectly to the dock only to realize as I drifted closer this is not where I should have docked
Clouds opened up above and allowed me to ascend to FL025 for a brief while for better views and more height over terrain
