Breaking through the clouds over Beaulieu-sur-Mer and turning towards the airport with Nice spread out before it
setting up for downwind, no other planes on approach it appears - one just landed and the one on my radar seems to be outbound over the Mediterranean
I know I'm too low but I'm so used to short runways I have trouble going long on approaches and even though you don't actually have to touchdown between the touchdown marks I try to anyways
Ooof, doesn't look like the TBM can sustain a 2000fpm climb as "Stall, Stall, Stall" warnings come through my headset and I hear the stick shaker rattling
UK airspace was busy busy busy and several flights came close enough I could actually make out their planes
Didn't fly too close to London for performance reasons, but that is indeed the River Thames wending above my plane with my nose stuck in the River Blackwater
Sitting up to keep the valley floor in view so I can compare its shape to the charts and keep track of my position
Manage to put on power and hold the airplane up until I make it over the runway. Now I just have to get my nose wheel down...
Oh crap - look at the torque meter (upper-left corner of right-hand display) I failed to engage the reverser properly and am now speeding up after landing
