Coming around back north after circling south to allow Andrew more time to climb above 11,000' so we can cruise over the mountains
Cruising along, taking note of the coastal highway, which is a major VFR marker to know where I am on this leg
Back to following on this leg, heading eastward over the southern Adirondacks I meant to fly over on the previous leg. One of the reasons I chose to fly later in day is that the Moon would be out
Oh hell someone decided to land the wrong way - or maybe the right way for their flight plan I dunno. Not sure if player or AI although at no point was ATC talking to another plane
Back below transition altitude and again no reminder to change over to local pressure - I've already listened to the ATIS too
Cruising the northern shore of Saint Croix towards the eastern end with Buck Island hiding in the clouds
Rapid climb led to a pressurization warning when the system failed to keep up. So close to leveling off too! Will have to revisit the PoH and see if setting the Bleed switch to Max Diff rather than Auto would help
Not visible from this altitude or simply the terrain mesh not being good enough, some of the famous Tepui - large mesa/table-top mountains that host unique wildlife habitats
After that descent and climb I will definitely not be making it to Churchill Falls in one go. Too much low-flying and meandering. Thankfully I have plenty of alternate options to choose from on my route to land for gas
Looking out towards one of several deep-cut valleys that lead off the plateau down to the Pacific coast
My airport elevation is more nuanced and less flat than the default field so some areas other planes show up higher. I think also his taxiway configuration was different cause I went to pass ahead of him and he rolled forward like he expected me to turn left
Turning south to follow the Turnpike (I-95), keeping it out the left window for better visibility and Andrew slowed up to let me follow better
Skies look threatening but weather reports say I should be able to get this done so climbing aboard at Vaksinen Småflyplass
Flying over the ranger station at Logan Pass, which is the start of the popular Highline Trail I have hiked
Using my GPS to maintain a constant ground track while being pushed around by winds - as you can see I'm not aiming directly towards the heading bug on my magnetic compass
