I'm going to love this week! Flat lays are one of my favorite things to do! I'm not sure how modern this is, but I think having to remind people to be kind is a modern thing. I don't remember having to be told this when I was growing up, we just tried our best to be.

"Little Girl" - mirrored image

still life flat lay---backlit leaves

Had some fun playing with flat lay compositions using farm eggs and a small whisk. Processing in Silver Efex.

Another wet, cold and dreary day. It might not feel like it's Spring so I had to get a little creative to make it feel like it is. ☀️🌷

Day 100 of this 365 already?! :)

Thanks for your visit! I hope you had a wonderful day!

I find miniature anything adorable and these little books I'm using for a project for my librarian pen pal are especially cute!

Hello friends! Hope you are all passing marvelous time! I hope you all like this shot of time. It was shot during dusk and I tried to add much cold to it as possible!

27/30: April 2019: A month in 30 pictures

Same scarf as I used the other day...a charity shop find that I just knew would be handy. The lavender I picked last summer at our local lavender farm. I made the wreath but changed the ribbon on it for this shot.

Cheesecake decorated with fresh fruits (figs and grapes). Top view, flat lay. Food still life

35/52 {Seasons 2019} My Diary

Relax.

Gingerbread snowflake cookies

Maple seeds in Montreal. I initially processed this using the Agfa Scala 200 preset from VSCO, which is a B+W preset. But I switched it back to colour after doing some edits, and decided I liked the colour version better.

“Let’s roll! I brought a board for you too!”

This Blythe doll is Vera Florentine, posing for the theme “Skateboarding “ in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a vinyl photographer’s backdrop. I bought it from Amazon last year because I thought it looked cool, but I haven’t had a reason to use it yet. Finally—the perfect prompt!

An easy still life of some sunflowers for my photo of the day.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. Thanks for your visit. :)

Getting ready to make dinner and thought of challage for Smile on Saturday. So of course grabbed my camera and shot away.

Thank you in advance for your comments and faves.

A deconstructed Crane's Bill (Geranium Sanguineum) from bud to blossom. A super prolific flower that spreads and blossoms all summer and fall. One of my favorites!

A flatlay image of daffodils on a bright white background created using a lightpad . Here is how I did it annesphotos.uk/lighting-for-lightpad-photography/

When the days are blue and breezy

and clouds sail through the sky;

when the flowers burst so brightly

you will see a butterfly!

This Middie Blythe doll is Melomelomew for “Butterfly” in Blythe World on Facebook.

Smell the rain. Splash in a puddle. Enjoy your life!

This Blythe doll is Simply Sparkly Spark wearing Nicky Lad’s raincoat, posing for “Petrichor” (the smell of rain) in Blythe a Day on Flickr. This is a chalkboard flat lay. I used liquid chalk markers for the rain.
