THIS IS NOT A COLLECTION!
I don't collect old scissors!
These scissors live in a drawer ever since I taught all sorts of art and craft in my studio.

The Smile on Saturday theme for today, 8/14, is โflat layโ. It will probably come as no surprise to those who know me that I decided to use the tops/lids of some of the teapots in my collection. Of course, now I have to match them with the right teapots!

Blueberry muffins in the making...
My sweet little old neighbour brought me over two dozen fresh eggs this morning. He shares his fresh eggs with us all the time. And this past week I bought a 2 lb container of blueberries at Costco which I have been struggling to get through so I figured it is time to do something with them and since the weather has cooled down for a change I don't mind turning on the oven. :)
Thanks to all for your visit! Happy Smile on Saturday! :)
I wasn't in the mood for food photography. I am not good at it and I'd rather eat the stuff :) so I thought I would just look at the wasabi peanut as an object which I wanted to place somewhere nice. That worked :)
I had this Christmas ornament made of wood which I found awkward because it's so blocky, but if I turned it over to hide the snowflake on the other side it became something nice again. This I then placed on a tin with a golden base. The wood block is 2 1/4 inches wide.

Just a tulip flatlay....nothing fancy. I loved the colourful mix of this bunch.
Thanks for your visit! I hope you all had a great day!
Home sweet home, may be a synonym for pettiness, but also wat most people want in a life, a nice place under the sun to live. with their loved ones and pets.
Last year our last cats died shortly after each other, all three nineteen years old. life is a lot less fun without those critters!

We collected a load of these for a school project in Autumn. They will be destroyed shortly as they grow EVERYWHERE and quickly take over!
Smile on Saturday: Flat Lay
A selection of Camellias from our garden overtaking the birdbath for the photo (the only way I could figure to make the Camellias lay flat was to float them).
