Haha, unknowingly, I seem to come up with a menu.

I'm currently suffering from my 20-hr binge watch last weekend. I should not have ignored responsibility when it came crying in the background.

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

I bought some fresh tulips today while I was at the store getting a couple of things for tonight's supper. It is hard to choose which colour to buy and if I was rich I'd buy them all! Haha! I decided on these red tulips as I usually don't see this colour variety. I also thought they would go well with the hearts since Valentine's Day is around the corner. ❤️

Thanks for your visit! I hope you had a great day!

Have joined a group that "Practices Random Acts of Kindness and Senseless Beauty". It's a rock painting group and we get together paint rocks, and put them in public places for people to find.

I have received SO many bouquets since Dad passed that I'm running out of places to put them, but I have cherished each and every one as they've arrived. Each bouquet has a variety of different flowers.

A colorful and tasty dessert created from seasonal fruits. Classic picnic tablecloth background. Family get together tradition.

still life flat lay---backlit leaves

I found an ancient copy of Practical Photography magazine - remember it? It's not published any more unfortunately. A feature on still life ideas caught my eye, so I've spent a couple of weeks searching for a suitable pencil sharpener. Not easy in lockdown but a neighbour found one. So after an evening of fiddling and adjusting minute details, hey presto, a zip. #37 Flat lay for the group challenge 121 pictures in 2021

My dog volunteered to help me out with this shot.

This was a fun one. I decided to incorporate the love of travel with photography. Mostly I shoot digital, but I included the camera I purchased in 1980 when I was in high school. I also included my passport, a map and travel book of Ireland and photos I took while I was there.

Another hoop flatl ay, this time using my led hoop.

A challenge started by Deanne Love on Instagram, which now has well over a 1000 photos with the tag myfavhoop. There are some lovely and creative images.

Colourful buttons shot on a light pad and then repeated and distorted in Photoshop to create this bit of fun 'art'

I listened to a podcast on Instgram by Deanne Love this morning and then got carried away with a photo challenge set by Deanne.

'Grab your fav hoop, put on some cool tunes, then GO! Collect as many things in your house that match your hoop 😊 Make some circle art, take a flat lay pic and share it

It has really taken off on Instagram myfavhoop with many people (including me) doing it with more than one hoop.

A little bit of fun during lockdown. I enjoyed myself doing these flatlays and this is probably my favourite - so I'm using it for:

Some of my photos made into refrigerator magnets.

Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.

I'm going to love this week! Flat lays are one of my favorite things to do! I'm not sure how modern this is, but I think having to remind people to be kind is a modern thing. I don't remember having to be told this when I was growing up, we just tried our best to be.

Flat lay of Coffee ...cafe Nero... everyone has favourites...

Another wet, cold and dreary day. It might not feel like it's Spring so I had to get a little creative to make it feel like it is. ☀️🌷

Day 100 of this 365 already?! :)
