Same scarf as I used the other day...a charity shop find that I just knew would be handy. The lavender I picked last summer at our local lavender farm. I made the wreath but changed the ribbon on it for this shot.

Maple seeds in Montreal. I initially processed this using the Agfa Scala 200 preset from VSCO, which is a B+W preset. But I switched it back to colour after doing some edits, and decided I liked the colour version better.
An easy still life of some sunflowers for my photo of the day.

Mum was an Avon lady for many years, so we shouldn't be surprised to find her old case, with masses of samples, along with cosmetics she used herself.
Perhaps the surprise is to find one or two items from other manufacturers!!!

We had a staff member retire today and during the Teams meeting party, everyone had lemon cupcakes. They were delicious.
A guy riding his bike across Lake Superior on this chilly Family Day in Ontario, I don't think I would be brave enough to do this.

Passade på att testa med den nya kameran
F2 and D5600 - two lovely ladies from my favorite camera manufacturer (along with some "intruder" gear).
These days I use a Z6 II, the D5.6k has been inherited by my wife and the F2 is long since retired, but i still love both of these cameras.
My word for 2025 was create. I created many things and learned some new skills. For 2026 I've settled on the word PRACTICE. I'm hoping to take some of the skills I used to create last year, practice and make them perf---ok, maybe not perfect, but better at least!. Today I practiced a bit of embroidery.
