(This is on the menu as a pizza, but we asked for a flatbread instead since it's smaller)

The new dish last weekend was based on yet another thing we've had at Contigo. This time, Steve made a version of a coca (flatbread, kind of like pizza but no tomato sauce here) with caramelized onions, broccolini he found at the farmer's market, and manchego cheese that I bought at Bi-Rite on Friday. It's probably not as authentic as it could be, since he just used his usual pizza dough recipe. We also realized later that the Contigo version had broccoli rabe; it was Beretta where we had broccolini on pizza. Close enough :)
We had it for lunch on Saturday, which meant better light. I didn't have to drag out the tripod or use the floor lamp in the living room.
American Flatbread (Waitsfield, Vermont) hosted all the DOTCOMers and their host families the 7/12. There was ethnic food, American food, and of course, AF's own eclectic pizzas baked in the clay oven just off the right of the picture! Feta & yak meat, mmmm.
My attempt at Thai roti (flatbread / pancakes) - Not bad. Topped with condensed milk & brown sugar. Consumed, probably unwisely, with hot chocolate => huge sugar rush
