The only flat tire I saw in Tokyo--this bike was parked outside of a shop, seeming like some sort of ad for the store. It's quite a classic--no derailleur, and is that a leather seat? Great bike.

Sea water is allowed to flood the plains where it is trapped. When it evaporates it leaves vast quantities of sea salt.

Originally, plates were manufactured but then never issued. In 2012, the current series was first issued.
Plates are recognized by the state of Wisconsin.

1930s Art Deco Flats facing Marine Parade West at Lee-on-Solent Hampshire, the building extends round into Pier Street the start of which is seen at extreme right.
Part of a Art Deco building spree during the 1930s at Lee which included constructing houses too in the same style at the time.
The modern windows on the right upper floor were probably installed as a cheaper option to the original frames which might have been expensive to reproduce.
First of two that day. Also the only day with significant rainfall. The other flat happened somewhere near Tillamook. Note for the future: ride the 3 Capes, not US 101, vertical gain be damned. Spent the night in a motel in Pacific City.
