MARS_13 [50 points]
This FlashInvaders colored big space invader in Marseille near Gare Saint-Charles has been installed as part of the 3rd invasion wave in Marseille in the Summer of 2014. The original of this one has been destroyed in the Spring of 2015 and I have never seen the original of this one which has been re-activated in 2017.
Marseille has been invaded 13 times devided in 3 invasion waves and the total points in Marseille is 220 points. The first invasion wave took place in the Summer of 2004 with in total 9 space invaders.

INVASION OF KÖLN
The city and region of Köln counts a total of 27 space invaders divided over 3 waves. The first wave was in October 2006 and counted 3 space invaders, the second in February 2007 at the same time as the exhibition "Bad Man" in Galerie Joellenbeck. In 2015 a third wave followed in the European Astronaut Center (EAC) in ESA as part of the Space2ISS project.
I had already visited the latter on April 19, 2017 without visiting the other space invaders. I visited, flashed and photographed the others in February 2024.
My score for Cologne is: 22 of the 27 flashed, 1 could not be flashed and 4 were already deleted at the time of my visit.

I was very lucky to be part of the first space invader tours organized by some of the biggest fans of Invader's work in cooperation with ESTEC. With special thanks to the manager of the Space Expo, Olivier and Invader who brought them together.
After the invasion of ESA (European Space Agency) in Redu Belgium (14 space invaders, 430 points) and Frankfurt (14 space invaders, 430 points), the HQ in Paris also the ESTEC (European Space Research and Technology Centre) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, has been invaded. On June 3, Invader has put up 10 space invaders of which 2 in and on the Space Expo, a permanent space exposition. In total worth 480 points. This operarion of Invader is referred as SPACE2ISS.
This space invader is located in one of the office buildings on the the enormous terrain of ESTEC.

Due to the game FlashInvaders it feels like I have to revisit a lot of earlier visited and photographed space invaders. Some of them not really worth to take another picture of, sometimes conditions (light, weather and surroundings) are even better than during my first visit. I visited PA_1105 during a morning walk along the boulevards which seperates the 10th and 18th arrondissement of Paris. And this co-production with Cost I found in full morning sunshine. 30 points and a nice photo!

RTD_05 [10 points]
A space invader near the famous Kubuswoningen on Overblaak and seen from the Mariniersweg. In August 2014 I found out that half of the tiles were removed and this one was not flashable with the online reality game FlashInvaders.
In July the reactivation team restored this one by adding the lost tiles and RTD_05 was back in the race. Revisited RTD_05 within two days after reparation/re-activation.

In the year 2001 the city of Rotterdam has been invaded by Invader. It was the 8th city in the world being invaded. In 4 days Invader put 26 space invaders (1 hidden bonus) on the walls of Rotterdam. Sometimes hidden sometimes on very visible locations. As we speak (*September2019) about 21 of 26 space invaders are there. Fifteen of them due to the work of the re-activations. Seven of them are still the original space invaders of 2001 put up by Invader.

A re-activation of a space invader which has been deleted somewhere in 2012 or 2013 so never been flashed. Now this classic red outlined invader is visible and flashable again for the fans.

Here captured during an evening FlashInvaders walk to flash a few re-activated space invaders. In 2018 I encountered more re-activated space invaders than new space invaders. Invader put up in total 103 space invaders worldwide, of which 38 in Paris.
