Found in January 2006 for the first time, desactivated in the year 2009 and returned like it has always been there in the Summer of 2018. Hopefully for a long time. Here captured during an evening FlashInvaders walk to flash a few re-activated space invaders. In 2018 I encountered more re-activated space invaders than new space invaders. Invader put up in total 103 space invaders worldwide, of which 38 in Paris.

MARS_12 [50 points]
Together with another invasion wave in La Ciotat in the Summer of 2014, Invader put two new space invaders on the walls of Marseille as well. The game 'FlashInvaders' was just introduced, the reason for the 'FlashInvaders' Summer colors.
Marseille has been invaded 13 times devided in 3 invasion waves and the total points in Marseille is 220 points. The first invasion wave took place in the Summer of 2004 with in total 9 space invaders. The most recent one, MARS_13 (photo by Denis) near Gare Saint-Charles has been destroyed in the Spring of 2015 due to renovation works on the building.

A Galaxian space invader under a railway overpass on the Avenue Amiral Courbet in Juan-les-Pins (part of Antibes). The origial space invader by time a little less beautiful than originally. The message of FlashInvaders is "MISSION SUCCESFUL" when you flashed this one.

INVASION OF THE CÔTE D’AZUR
In the year 2007 Invader has invaded the entire coast of the French Rivièra. Instead of only one city he made a project of an entire region; Côte d’Azur. Spread out from La Ciotat to the Menton near the border of Italy.
The first wave consisted of 35 space invaders spread out over 24 cities with a total score of 990 points. In 2016 Invader put one invader up in Cavalaire-sur-Mer (CAZ_36) and in 2017 wave number 3 consisted another single one (CAZ_37).
Lots of them have been deleted throughout the years but there are already are about 9 space invaders re-activated.

This red runner made out of big 10 by 10 centimeter tiles was long on my list to visit but this one is located on a hard to reach location without a car. On my way to the South of France on the passenger seat I took my change. I knew where to get ready to shoot. Haven't flashed this one with the FlashInvaders appplication. One thing at a time.

In the year 2001 the city of Rotterdam has been invaded by Invader. In 4 days Invader put 26 space invaders (1 hidden bonus) on the walls of Rotterdam. Sometimes hidden sometimes on very visible locations.

It must have been around 2005 that I tried to search for this one in the 19ème arrondissement. But the tiny low mounted red and white invader was not there anymore. Deleted. Case closed. But to my surprise one of my space invader friends, Streetartww, made a perfect copy of the PA_437 from the book "L'Invasion de Paris" and glued it in exactly the same place. Re-activation succesful and PA_437 was 'flashable' again for the online game FlashInvaders.
