This street has a rich history when it comes to street art. The very first space invader in the world used to be here and the original PA_133 together with the 'fresque' of ZEVS are still here. And in April 2018 PA_047 was re-activated as well. I'm sure a lof people are waiting for the re-activation of PA_1 (or PA_01 or PA_001) but I'm not sure if that will ever happen.

It took me more than 3 years to visit this white space invader in Montreuil. Nowadays surrounded by a mural made by street artist Popov who integrated the space invader into his own work. It was the 3628th space invader worldwide.

The entrance gate at ESA’s ESRIN Earth observation centre near Rome, Italy, with recently installed mosaic art. French artist Invader is installing his art at ESA establishments around Europe and even on the International Space Station.
ESA has been monitoring Earth with its environmental satellites since the 1970s, keeping a constant watch over our planet by analysing satellite data to protect our environment.

It appears that Invader has taken a sabbatical in 2021. Only 40 new space invaders in the world of which 25 in Ljubljana (wave 2) and only 15 in his hometown Paris. A we speak (02/01/2022) Invader just installed the 4000th invader in the 40th invaded city at an altitude of 4000 meters to start 2022.
This space invader in the 9ème arrondissement of Paris is one of the 15 new space invaders of the year 2021.

I guess this is one of the biggest space invaders in Paris. Very well visible from the métro line 6 between the stations Chevaleret and Quai de la Gare along the Boulevard Vincent Auriol. Almost 3 three stories high on one of the buildings of Hôpital La Pitié-Salpêtrière. This character is nobody else than House (when flashing this one with the app FlashInvaders it says "HOUSE IS IN DA HOUSE".
House (also called House, M.D.) is an American television medical drama that originally ran on the Fox network for eight seasons, from November 16, 2004 to May 21, 2012. The series' main character is Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), a pain medication-dependent, unconventional, misanthropic medical genius who leads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey. The series' premise originated with Paul Attanasio, while David Shore, who is credited as creator, was primarily responsible for the conception of the title character. Glad I found and flashed this one hidden in a narrow partly covered alley. I was lucky the lady with the cane just came out of the door next to the watchmaker's with their motto If you got a watch, we have the time.

A revisit of MARS_75 near the stairs of Gare Marseille Saint-Charles. When I visited this one in 2021 there was overcast and three years later this blue one is bathing in full sunshine.
This space invader is part of the 4th wave of Invader in this city, where he added a whopping 84 new space invaders to the existing 13 from three previous waves (two in 2004, one in 2014) in August 2020.

Stewart and Sam busy taking photos and 'flashing' this one and only space invader in the center of Aix on the corner of the Rue de la Couronne and Rue Brueys.
Invader decided to invade Aix-en-Provence as the third city in the world after Paris and London. In June 1999 10 space invaders were installed spread out over the old center. The one and only wave with a total score of 160 points.
Two years ago only AIX_07 was left of this invasion wave and was deleted in 2014. But this one came back to life during a re-activation and is protected by perspex. So there is still one space invader left as we speak, perhaps more re-activations will be organized in Aix.

Sun and blue skies is most of the time the daily motto of the city of Marseille.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

Rue Jeanne d'Arc is a street in the 13ème arrondissement of Paris in the quartiers Gare and Salpêtrière. This street starts at Rue de Domrémy and ends at Boulevard Saint-Marcel. It has a length of 1410 meters and a width of 20 meters.
It carries the name of "The Maid of Orléans" (1412 - 1431), a heroine of France for her role during the Lancastrian phase of the Hundred Years' War, and was canonized as a Roman Catholic saint.

Hiding up in the clouds, PA_1431 is the highest space invader ever placed in Paris. It landed on the top of the Eiffel Tower in November 2019 where it enjoys the great view !
Since the news Invader invaded the top of the Tour Eiffel I had the plan to visit the top of this tower. Then we had the covid-19 pandemic and it was not possible to visit the top of this tower to gain 100 points at an altitude of 281 meters.

The originial of this one (see below for the link to the original space invader made in 1999) was the first space invader in the Netherlands and Amsterdam. The original has been deleted in October 2006 due to the renovation and painting of this monumental bridge. But it was part of the re-activation of gone space invaders. The fourth official re-activation in Amsterdam (AMS_04 in October 2015, AMS_10 in March 2016 and right before the re-activation of this one, AMS_11)

I captured this mirror eyed 'videogame' space invader for the first time in July 2005 without taking a close-up shot. Made in 1999 and desactivated in 2014 and had a come back in 2015 and after another disparition we are looking at the third edition of PA_211. With finally a good close-up.

From 24/06/2022 till 08/01/2023 Invader had an exhibition in the Nima Museum in Bruxelles (Molenbeek Saint-Jean) under the titel Invader Rubikcubist. For this occasion, Invader has placed two new space invaders on the outside of the museum. His second invasion wave in Brussels since 2012. A total of 80 extra points for the city of Brussels.
This one is located on the roof of the MIMA museum.

One of the two space invaders installed right after the COVID-19 lockdown was released on 11/05/2020. People were allowed again to leave there homes without a permission and Invader took the opportunity to put up some fresh space invaders like this one.

Avignon is an invaded city. Two years ago in the Summer of 2013 I found 22 of all 41 space invaders. The interactive game application FlashInvaders was nonexistent at that time. During the little time of my visit in Avignon this time I tried to flash the most of them, the score was 12 flashed Avignon space invaders with a total score of 180 points plus 100 bonus points 'new city'.
Sad news is that 5 space invades I encountered in 2013 are not there anymore.

I guess this is one of the biggest space invaders in Paris. Very well visible from the métro line 6 between the stations Chevaleret and Quai de la Gare along the Boulevard Vincent Auriol. Almost 3 three stories high on one of the buildings of Hôpital La Pitié-Salpêtrière. This character is nobody else than House (when flashing this one with the app FlashInvaders it says "HOUSE IS IN DA HOUSE".
House (also called House, M.D.) is an American television medical drama that originally ran on the Fox network for eight seasons, from November 16, 2004 to May 21, 2012. The series' main character is Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), a pain medication-dependent, unconventional, misanthropic medical genius who leads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey.
