Well the time has come for Sunset Sailor to raise the mainsail and head off into the mist. My last post, here, is one of the first digital photos I ever took, using my HP Photosmart C20 camera.
A lot has changed in my life over the past two years and it's time for me to change as well. There aren't enough words to express the gratitude I have for my contacts and friends here on Flickr. You are the best and have shared your best over the years. I have harvested so much enjoyment from your work and words.
Not related to my departure, but as an aside, download any photos or textures you want from my posts, while you can, since non-Pro accounts will be stripped to a minimum sometime soon.

This is the best photo I managed to get of the eclipse. Heavy clouds moved in just as the moon was beginning its journey across the sun's face.
The whole experience was incredible, weather frustrations aside.
