While at Far North Bicentennial Park, I saw the first Grizzly Bear of the year. Too early for salmon so I guess he was just checking things out on a nice, warm Spring day on Campbell Creek.

And, yes, I was quite a distance away from him... 550mm lens far away!

My photos have been all over the place recently -- or really all the time I guess XD I just kinda like experimenting with where my mood takes me so… its just a buncha randomness. For this, I thought i’d do a little storytelling here :>

Wanted to take a shot over at Oyasumi @ Shijima to congratulate Kenzo on his store coming back to SL. Really glad to have you back in SL and all that jazz.

The open air parking lot is a really adorable place to take pictures in, so I hope you guys pay it a visit :3

A New Year's Day hike along the Georgian Bay Trail brought us to a snowless Indian Head Cove.

Babies first swim lesson, and the chick between the legs of the Dad was the one most reluctant.

Thank you for visiting and have a great week.

Found this lovely large female out basking in a new spot today, although she may just be making her way to the main breeding ground. She was fully out then saw me and retreated to the bracken where she immediately returned to the edge of to get a better look at me. Her rear end was very crusty with the scent discharge so the males will be all over her soon I suspect. Fabulous snake.

First of day of June and the first plunge of the summer. This was almost a triptych.

Heron Rookery on the Mississippi River

Out on a sunny walk yesterday. The temperatures were below freezing, but no snow. The wind made it feel colder than it actually was.

So a new story begins, it's up to you to create the sequel...

Photos taken during my break as a key worker. Social distance and mask regulations kept to at all times.

Back in Fontainebleau after years away and delighted to see our favourite patisseries are still doing fine and still absolutely delicious. I'm going to gain 50kg on this trip...

I'm a people person. As long as they play nice, I won't have to shoot anyone.

Well, pre-sunrise behind a scrub hill in a hay field.

The Dodge Charger was introduced mid-1966 model year. It shared major components like the chassis and much of the two-door Coronet's front body with a fastback roofline following the pattern set by AMC's 1965 Marlin.

Rich and I had been out since six o'clock, and I needed to get to work. As we returned to the car, we passed the ruins of a building being demolished after it burned. I had said something to Rich about wishing I could get in there, and all of a sudden, we found a back entry that had been left open. No time to spend there. Damn!!!! Couple of quick shots and away we went.

Yep, I like the light in this one! And these photobombing waterbirds only add to the scene so no need to clone that Coot out either lol.

I am rather busy atm so not as long a blurb as normal. Hopefully I will be back up to full warble shortly!

On the official start of Summer, the sun goes down over beautiful farm land.

From my hometown I can clearly see the whole mountain chain of the Alps, with their foothills in front of them. Yesterday I found them whitened by the first fresh snow of the season. Winter is coming. We must prepare ourselves, my dog and I.

On Veterans Day, Amtrak's inaugural train 41 heads south through Long Bridge Park. Amtrak brought out a cleaner-than-usual ALC-42 to mark the occasion. The train was about an hour late at this point, which meant its passage here was close to that of the old 91.

…of a new job!

I was only on the market for a day. Woot!

I sense good things to come.
