At the London Museum of Water & Steam. Taken with my Nikon 1 J5. The frame was from 1880, the steam engine from 1914 and it was used during WWI. Its steam engine could pump 900 gallons (4,000+ litres) of water a minute.
Morgan Hill had it's own fire dept with lime-green apparatus up until the merger with County Fire. Ex-Morgan Hill Truck 11, now Truck 112 in a hybrid scheme. Santa Clara County's units were white. I am not sure if this or any ex-Morgan Hill units were ever repainted or not.
Originally a seven seat touring car. A Merryweather steam pump was taken from a horse drawn pump. Has a 7600cc engine. 30mph maximum speed.
Used on a private estate in France.
For the tech minded it has an opposed piston engine-4 cylinders-8 pistons.
The vehicle remains in working condition including the steam pump.
