Saw this fire engine flashing its lights at an intersection yesterday and thought something might have happened up hill. When we walked across the street, we saw the fire engine stop by the roadside further up the street on our right. There were a couple of kids with bikes and one must have fallen down and got hurt. Stay safe, everyone!

Brunswick County - Head-on MVC, Dry Bread Road, Ebony, VA. Ebony VFD, Brunswick Volunteer Rescue Squad, Central Volunteer Rescue Squad, and the Virginia State Police responded.
This 1929 American LaFrance pumper was donated to the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company.
It first went into service on November 6, 1929 for the Pompton Plains, NJ Fire Department where it served for many years.
This unit is powered by a 6 cylinder engine and has a 600gpm pump.
Currently this piece is used for parades and fire musters.
I'm pretty sure there isn't a Hook and Ladder co. 32 in the FDNY, but the overall look of the trucks and the markings is representative of FDNY rear-mount ladder trucks.

When we were at my son's parade they borrowed a few appliances from the past ...what a beauty!
Sadly they raced off before I could take many shots.....can't imagine they were attending a fire!!!
