Army Crash 1 on demo for a group of children to see. This truck is owned by the PA Army National Guard and operates out of Army Fire Station #75. This truck is designed mainly for Air Field rescue and incidents.
VF Specialist Vehicles was a small manufacturer of industrial fire engines that was active in the 1980s and 1990s operating at first from Batley and later Marsden Yorkshire. Although the firm mostly converted Land Rovers there were a few Ford Transits made. This one was supplied in 2000 to Cerestar in Manchester and had an pump with a seperate engine, a crew cab and a water tank. It was the last fire engine that the firm made and was later reported to be used for dry riser testing by a commercial company.
