Fire Engine

This photo a favorite of mine, was my original buddy icon. I probably spent an hour or two or maybe more removing many imperfections and distractions including a wooden sign mounted in the back of the truck and an advertisement painted on the door. Sorry that I have forgotten the make and year. LaFrance rings a bell. 55-57 GMC- LaFrance?

Dinky 286 - Ford Transit Fire Appliance. 1968 to early '70s. The automatic hose rewind feature still works after all these years.
