The building at 941–955 Boylston Street in the Back Bay district of Boston, Massachusetts was designed by Arthur H. Vinal in 1886, while he was City Architect, as the city's first combined fire and police station.

Several events were held during Camp Zama’s Fire Prevention Week from Oct. 4 to 9 to raise the awareness of fire safety throughout the community on Camp Zama and Sagamihara Family Housing Area. Employees from Camp Zama’s Directorate of Emergency Services visited John O. Arnn Elementary School, Oct. 8 to educate the students on fire safety. (U.S. Army phots by Noriko Kudo)

More than 40 firefighters were on the scene of a field fire in Havant.
The incident was near Southleigh Road shortly after two o’clock, with initial reports indicating a fire involving hay bales.
Crews from Havant, Cosham, Southsea and Waterlooville were supported by specialist vehicles from Fareham, Portchester, Bordon and SHQ.
The fire services have managed to save a small group of trees in the burned field.
