Eight trips to Vegas and after a couple of abortive trips - too hot, too far, too hungover - the Welcome to Las Vegas sign was finally visited. It wasn't that far from Mandalay Bay and it wasn't really worth the effort, but its another thing ticked off the Vegas 'must do' list.
Crews finally remove and secure the body of a construction worker killed on Clayson Rd when a cement wall collapsed. The incident which took place around 11:30AM was hampered by a damaged watermain delaying the body removal until 1AM the next day.

My Gardenia Finally Bloomed !
It had been dropping buds all summer, and finally I got a bloom ! It smells soooooooo good !
i've been meaning to replant hims into a bigger pot for months now. i finally found one that would be big enough to bother, yet still fit in the cute little planter i got for him.
and i seem to have finally quenched his thirst. i've over watered so many plants, i'd been accidentally under watering this one. poor guy. but he finally looks happy and now he can grow for a while before i'll need to repot him again!

What was only supposed to be an hour turned into almost 3 hours, but they finally get underway towards Eola Yard
I have always wanted to capture a humming bird frozen in air, and have finally achieved that! FINALLY!!
My grandma put out a feeder, saying it would attract one within 5 minutes. This guy turned up right on the money, and didn't mind being photographed, apparently.
Will be trying to get more photos more often, as I hate digging in archives!
Finally, Synnye is in house!! she seemed to be impossible, but already she was here.

For $6, this lens wasn't a bad deal at all. Optically good, just a bit rough on the outside.
We've been looking for ages for a nice hairclip for Rosina and finally found one in the Portal. Now she just needs a special occasion to wear it to.

Because our new home is finally a real new home (no box to open anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), I took time with mi girls today. And the first to go out from her box was Brewster. That reminds me how much taking pics of her is difficult. It's better on shadow cause her skin is a real horror with sun :/
But anyway........love her so much :)
I think she looks so much like her auntie today that i Just loved her more <3
