After two aborted trips earlier this month due to weather, we finally got out on our annual Tuna trip with Ortus Charters. Luck was with us on this trip, and we hooked into tuna amazingly in less than a minute of setting our baits.
It turned out that this fish would be above the recreational size limit, so we would be releasing this beautiful giant of the sea. Our captain, Scott Yelle, estimated the fish to be over feet long and over 400 pounds. It was an amazing trip into the ocean wilderness where we saw a large variety of wildlife... basking shark, mola molas, blue shark, another unidentified shark, whales, dolphins and several different kinds of birds.

Nevada: Well, I’m glad we could all make it today. Summer vacation can make it hard to find time to see friends, even when we do all live in the city. I think it’s important we find time to socialize.
Marty: Yeah! I really love hanging out with you guys! You’re welcome to come chill at our place anytime, you know. Ooh, Jace, you’ve gotta try this one! It’s delicious! Here.

Day 59 of 366
Prior to Sunday 2/28/16 I had never seen a Pileated Woodpecker close enough to say I had really seen it. But I was up north for a family event and my brother has a pair that visit his feeders. So I took my camera along and finally I can say I've seen one. They sure are big. The photo is not the best... but it records that I reached that milestone.
...lost that silly tooth. And good thing, too, because the new one was already coming in behind it. As you can see, he was very excited.
All for this stupid piece of paper which I could have printed myself.
And no, I cannot fix your television or toaster yet :)
