... it was all gray and rainy that day ... until we found them ...

Finally, our Friends from MacPhun developed a Windows version of Luminar!

When the balance beam was finally clear, Joel zipped across it at a run to the cheers of the spectators.

Yes, I've finally given up smoking, after 37 years - lasted 3 weeks now, but the cravings are still as bad as ever. Some of my pipes on the way to the attic, so I don't have to look at them. The rustic meerchaum in the middle was a favorite - made in Cowbridge, Wales, but as you can see rather well used.

Torre de Hercules is the oldest lighthouse of the world still in order. It was built in the first century by the Romans and still marks the entrance to the harbor of A Coruña at the Northwest of Spain.

Finally! 28mm is wide-angle! So glad to be shooting full-frame.

Love this Minolta 28-135mm lens as well.

I tell ya, the end of this school year is trying my patience, probably because my finals are not going to be that trying (for once).

I had the fortune to upload this one at a computer at school which is using Lightroom 3, hence the awesomeness of the preset.

I should go back and lighten up Kari a bit, but that's okay. Ce la vie.

Oh, I also finally got around to blogging about this.

the leaves are starting to change colors :)

taken with my iphone. yay. I had to sneak this because technically it's not allowed.

Goal met. Quilt is finally on the frame. Done for today. Yaay!!

I've been waiting for these flowers to bloom :-) HBWE!

Again, not good light, but I got some sewing done today. I wish I had a room I could just close the door so my kids would just leave me & my stuff alone, lol!

At long last, I’ve done it! Finally 100% working valve gear

The boy just smiled at the sight of his best friend.

That might sound like an odd thing to say along the triple track, but it was an hour and a half before this next train showed up! For a while I was wondering if something was up with the BNSF, there had been a derailment at Carter siding (just west of Polo IL on the Aurora sub) a couple days earlier, and while I couldn’t imagine the line still being closed, I could picture a weekend daylight work window for clean up. More likely it was just a slow day.

We went out early this morning, hunting for the perfect, Donald Duck tree. Finally we found it, five minutes from home of all places. And cheap too. 😬

Au: Another potato head, unbelievable!

Yv: Yay, a Blythe sister! *-*

??: Can anyone help me to get out of this box, please?

Co: Hold on, we're going to help you!

*

Au: Outra cabeçuda blaster, não acredito!

Yv: Yay, uma irmã Blythe! *-*

??: Alguém me ajuda a sair daqui por favor?

Co: Aguenta firme, que já vamos te tirar dai!

I couldn't decide which one I liked more, so I put them both up.

Its actually a painting I did my Junior year, and its a bird with gears behind it.

My two grail dolls are finally home!

I finally caught up to them just as they found "it," whatever it is. From the looks of it though, it's pretty damn dangerous.

How 'bout I wait until it leaves. Maybe one of these guys can help me. . . If they survive. . . and I guess the same goes for me too.

Haha - April Fools, thanks Flickr ;-)

Yes, I've finally given up smoking... Well, I hope so. This is my pipe rack on its way to storage in the attic. Haven't got the courage to bin it in case I start again - pipes are expensive to replace these days.

Lame titles continue! ;A;

Some more bad lighting shots I took... but I still find them cute ;A;

I have to really get this grouting caught up.

I have over 1000 views at last! I know its poor but I'm proud of myself!

Just because I bought this beautiful Merino laceweight yarn on holiday, which is too fine for the Jasz pattern, it's taken four attempts to get it to fit. US crochet terms are still a foreign language, but I'm getting there. Crochet is still another language. LOL 😁
