I finally got a new air compressor this week.
I decided, since I got a hole in ye old wallet. I might as well get something I really need..For once!
Hopefully this will last a few years, before it spring an air leak that can't be fixed.
In this period I have to face myself. With different images and different perspectives. But I do still love me a lot. I guess I'm finally knowing myself for real. And I'm not scaring anymore of what I'll find.
I can finally walk around now. I hope they're doing this everywhere around me tonight.
Also this was an attempt at panning. I actually got part of it :D
I've been away a while folks, sorry. My latest find is a GP-25 replica made by Lancer Tactical. Fullmetal, except for polymer short pistol grip. It comes with a grenade sighter, as well as a 19round Grenade.
Since my PC forced my hand and started throwing cryptic messages that
wouldn't go away, I finally installed my new Mac. I'd wanted to do it for a
while, but the fact that I had to do some serious rearranging and cleaning
had made me keep putting it off. When the PC picked a day that I was a) on
campus and b) miraculously had no (zero, zilch) meetings scheduled to go belly up, I got
it done.
It´s warm enough so that my winter jacket is to warm. Today me and my friends went to Vällingby where we took some pictures of flowers and some portraits. I wasn´t pleased with any of my pictures so I grabbed one my friend Alexandra shot with my camera. I was inspired by myphoto.blogg.se and her photoshopping so I thought maybe doing something similar with this picture would be awesome. So I did. And this is the result.
It´s me on the picture, just after kicking a soccer ball.
Summer <3
And yes, my left arm looks retarded. Don´t mind.

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own
We don't need
Anything
Or anyone
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life
Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life
All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes
They're all I can see
I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things
Will never change for us at all
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
That commuter was a nice catch, but where was the Chief, it should have been here a good ten minutes ago! I was beginning to worry that it was being held for connections (a not unusual occurrence) meaning that the NYC train was being held even later! I am beginning to believe that railfanning would probably be a great hobby for conspiracy theorists! It turned out that I was worrying about nothing because a few minutes later someone with a scanner reported that the NYC train had been given a go to head east. Good news except that the Fairview crossovers were set to switch it from M2 to M3, making an already dicey light situation even worse! With a distinct feeling of déjà vu I trooped west across Fairview Ave to set up where I could catch the action while it was still on M2, just like I’d done with my very first train of the day.

....I saw the end of the driveway this morning! My Daughter and I in the car on the way to the city for a few groceries. Exactly two months since I was last out. Chattered all the way, commenting on a few things that were different since the last trip. Up the freeway to the Co-op store, stopped at Mickey-D's for a drink on the way back and home in time for lunch. It was nice.
We enjoyed our first breakfast in the comfort of the outdoor shade
structure this morning. We did have a last minute rebar bending party
to secure our cloth mounts, but that was it. The rest worked out just
as planned.
We arrived in Stavanger in the morning, took a ferry to Tau, then a bus to the base camp of Pulpit Rock, then began my first ever real hiking trip. After 2 hours of hardcore (for me...) hiking, I finally saw the Pulpit Rock!
I finally completed this lot of carving and sanding ^__^ but my thumbs and fingers are numb now @__@ ... Lol ..
Finally finished this book, took me over a month to read. I had heard lots of good things about it, but had a hard time with the second part of the book.

Well, I finally got one in Explore. I was surprised that it wasn't one of my very popular Lati pics but am loving that Tess was able to grab that "first" spot.

Chestnut-sided Warbler
Setophaga pensylvanica
I've seen this species many times over the years - although it's far from a common sighting, maybe a couple per year - but it's taken me over a decade since my first sighting to finally get a publishable photo of one.
he was sweet too, but he was LOUD! this kid gets really crazy in the car. he was funny at times and really loud at times. i had rode in the backseat between the boys. it was a very tight squeeze.
These are my prints from this summers photogravure class I took at the Cleveland Institute of Art. I finally got around to scanning them. In all reality the prints aren't my favorite thing I made there. I love love love the copper plates that I made to make these prints.
After my fits of jealousy over many of my contacts' fine photos of jewel beetles, I finally found one that stayed still for longer than a second. It was on the sand, so I assumed it had been caught in the wrong spot, but when I disturbed it it flew off in a very healthy looking way. The metallic green feet aren't in focus, but are still pretty dapper.
