Outdoor Garden Water Feature Fountain - Features / Fountains
Garden fountains are beautiful outdoor water accents. Outdoor fountains are used in public parks, gardens, yards, patios and decks. The most traditional design is a tiered waterfall with multiple levels where the water cascades down many levels of stone. A garden fountain is very dramatic and has a high degree of water noise and motion due to the water becoming airborne and crashing into the lower level pool below. The water finds it's way into the pool at the bottom and is taken back to the top again by a powerful water pump to begin it's journey anew. Some famous artists and sculptors have created garden water features which add life and elegance to their sculptures. Today craftsmen and increased knowledge have made available garden fountains for private residences.

Built between 1879 and 1882, this American Florentine Revival-style building was the former royal palace for the Kingdom of Hawaii, designed by Thomas J. Baker, Charles J. Wall, and Isaac Moore for King David Kalākaua. The palace was the home of the monarchs of the Kingdom of Hawaii between 1882 and 1893, the executive building of the provisional government and Republic of Hawaii from 1893 until 1898, the capitol building of the Territory of Hawaii from 1898 until 1959, and the capitol building of the State of Hawaii from 1959 until 1969. During its time as a territorial and state capitol, the building was altered and renovated, removing or neglecting several original features, enclosing parts of the lanais that encircle the building’s exterior, adding additional office space outside of the building’s original footprint, and replacing some of the original windows with french doors. The building replaced an earlier ‘Iolani Palace, a western-style structure with elements reminiscent of the Greek Revival style and Creole cottages in the United States, which stood on the same site, and was built in 1844-45. The earlier palace was an aliʻi, which featured no sleeping quarters, but included a dining room, throne room, and a reception room, being only about ⅓ the size of the present building. The previous building had similarities to the present structure, including a raised lanai wrapping around the entire structure, with a hipped roof, a doric colonnade, large windows, and separate homes on the grounds where the royal family lived and slept. By 1874, when King David Kalākaua ascended to power, the original palace, built of wood was in poor condition, and in 1879, the building was demolished and construction began on the present palace. Inspired by knowledge of European royal palaces and architecture, the palace features four corner towers and towers on the front and rear facades, which all feature mansard roofs topped with cornices and cresting, arched double-hung windows, quoins, decorative relief panels, circular medallions on the arched and circular roof dormers, and flagpoles atop each mansard roof. Between the towers and on the second and third floors of the front and rear towers are lanais on the first and second floors of each side of the building, with staircases to the entrances on the front and rear at the foot of the towers, corinthian columns supporting arches, decorative balustrades, iron railings on the second floor, large windows and door openings with decorative trim surrounds, decorative tile floors, decorative ceilings, a cornice above, and a decorative railing wrapping the base of the building’s large low-slope and hipped roof. Underneath the lanais and enclosed spaces of the second and third floors of the palace is the basement, which is surrounded by a light well, with access provided to exterior entrances on the sides of the building via staircases. Inside, the palace has a layout with large rooms on either side of a central hallway on the first and second floors, which are linked via a large grand staircase, with the first floor hallway known as the Grand Hall. On one side of the Grand Hall is the throne room, taking up the entirety of this part of the first floor, with a dressing room behind the thrones, while on the other side of the Grand Hall is the Blue Room, a reception hall, and the State Dining Room, with a bathroom, and butler’s pantry between the State Dining Room and the Grand Hall. On the second floor, the hallway features a ceiling with two decorative medallions on either side of a central stained glass dome, with the room where Queen Liliʻuokalani was imprisoned for 9 months following the second of the Wilcox rebellions in 1895 sitting on the ocean-facing side of this end of the building, with a restroom and closet between this room and the Queen’s Bedroom. All bedrooms on this floor are linked via diagonal hallways to the second floor rooms in the corner towers, which are utilized as small sitting rooms. On the opposite side of the hallway is the King’s Bedroom, King’s Office, and Music Room, as well as an additional bathroom. In the basement, the building is split by two hallways that intersect at the base of the basement stairs, running between the building’s service areas, including the kitchen, as well as administrative offices for the Kingdom of Hawaii, with most of the space now mostly housing exhibits and display cases. The interior of the building features extensive detailing and decoration that was restored after the building ceased being utilized as the State Capitol in 1969, including grand carved and reproduction staircases and balusters, decorative plaster ceilings with medallions, decorative crown moulding, carved wood doors and trim, wood floors, bathrooms with built-in water closets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers, period appropriate light fixtures, as well as period and reproduction furnishings and pieces of art that were in the building during the Kingdom of Hawaii period. The palace was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1962, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. Following the completion of the Hawaii State capitol in 1969, a 9-year restoration program was carried out on the palace, with the palace opening in 1978 as a museum, run by the nonprofit organization Friends of ʻIolani Palace, that preserves the structure and tells the story of the Hawaiian Royal family who once resided and ruled from the palace, as well as allowing for visitors to admire the beautiful restored and preserved details of the interior and exterior of the building. On January 17, 1993, a vigil was held on the grounds of the palace, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii by a group consisting of primarily white American businessmen, deposing the monarchy that had ruled the kingdom from 1795 until 1893. The grounds of the palace features restored landscaping intended to show what the palace looked like at the time of its completion, and the relocated ‘Iolani Barracks that once stood on the present site of the present state capitol, which now sits to the northeast of the main palace. The building is the only former royal Palace in the United States, and sits in the middle of park-like grounds surrounded by state, federal, and local government buildings in the heart of Downtown Honolulu.

The estate features an incredible building that was built by Cimicky himself and has lovely formal gardens that are always manicured. Karl's son Charles took over the family business and renamed it for himself, hence the name on the bottle now. In the early 90s Charles began to take a keen interest in winemaking and the good wines started turning into awesome wines. Charles Cimicky produces rich, voluptuous, generous wines with superb balance. Now in his late thirties Charles Cimicky is one of the most quality-driven, meticulous winemakers in South Australia.

Charles Cimicky is fastidious. The winery is completely air-conditioned and individually temperature-controlled tanks are employed in the making of all Cimicky wines. Updated technology includes the unse of a membrane press and rotary fermenters. The Cimickys also have their own bottling and packaging line which is a rarity in a winery of this size.
Charles Cimicky winery and vineyards are located one kilometer along the picturesque hermann Thumm Drive in Lyndoch, on the very floor of the Valley, surrounded by the beautiful Barossa Ranges. Apart from minor drip irrigation in January and February, the entire 32 hectares of vines are dry grown, cover-cropped and organically fertilized. The fruit is aged only in top quality oak which is apparent in the finegrained tannins evident in all of their premium wines.
This Prairie Jacket features a plethora of recycled blue shades pleated details at the hood, back waist and shoulders. The layout of colors is asymmetric on the right and left, but the jacket is symmetrically shaped. The pleated rear section makes this an excellent jacket for pear shaped figures and will help define the waist of those with more rectangular figures.
The generously sized, fully lined hood has lovely big corduroy drawstrings that come through beautiful round holes at the front. Two matching drawstrings leave through matching round holes at the patchwork back waist to allow you to gather the jacket to fit your waist for a customized fit. The front pockets zip with two similar, but slightly different reclaimed vintage zippers. A curved hem helps to slim the figure, accented by hand-embroidered dots that lead up the zipper to the neck. The sleeves end in stretchy blue ribbing. It is moderate in weight and would be well suited to use in spring or fall as an everyday jacket, and would also be idea s a summer beach coverup.

[*1] Fringing reef is one of the three main types of coral reef and grow near the coastline around islands and continents. They are often separated from the shore by narrow, reef pool.
[*2] Located on Northwest Coast of Haterumajima
[*3] Patch reefs are small, isolated reefs that grow up from the open bottom of the island platform. They vary greatly in size, and they rarely reach the surface of the water.
[*4] components that make up a fringing reef
- - -
Reef Flat:A zone that is located closest to the shoreline and is flat, shallow, broadest
This zone suffers the damage from sediments by land, therefore the diversity of life is lower in comparison with other zone. The coral density is low, and leathery corals are often found there.
- - -
Reef Crest:A zone that is located between Reef Flat and Reef Front and in the most highest part
This zone has the best balance between sunlight and waves, therefore vibrant corals are found there and density is high too.
- - -
Reef Front:A zone that is located closest to the open ocean and is found at the outer edge
This zone is often quite steep and descends either to a relatively shallow sand bottom or to depths too great to allow the growth of coral. Wave action disperses pollutants and carries nutrients to this zone, therefore this is where the greatest diversity of corals exist.

Nakhon Pathom is a small province located just 56 Km's. from Bangkok. The province features an ancient religious structure called Phra Pathom Chedi, the first religious landmark that signified the influx of Buddhism into Thailand. Nakhon Pathom is also renowned for its abundant fruits varieties and famous dishes. Phra Pathommachedi or Phra Pathom Chedi is a Stupa in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. At 120.5 metres ( 395 ft ) it is the second tallest stupa in the world after Jetavanaramaya in Sri Lanka. The Stupa is located in the Wat Phra Pathommachedi Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan a temple in the town centre of Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.
The name Phra Pathommachedi means the first holy stupa, given by king Mongkut. Originally the Stupa named Phra Thom Chedi means the big stupa in ancient Khmer language or the royal stupa in Northern Thai language. One of the common misunderstandings about this stupa is that Phra Pathommachedi is the oldest and the first stupa in Suvarnabhumi, an ancient name of Southeast Asia. Modern Historians believe that the stupa was one of the principal stupas of ancient Nakhon Pathom, the largest settlement of Dvaravati culture in Nakhon Pathom area together with the nearby Phra Prathon Chedi during the 6th to the 8th centuries.
Nakhon Pathom was situated by the sea, the city prospered during the Dvaravati civilisation. According to archaeological findings, Nakhon Pathom was the first city to possess influences of Buddhism and Indian civilisations. From the Phra Pathom Chedi and other remains discovered in the city area, it is believed that the city was a centre of civilisation in that era. People of different races settled in Nakhon Pathom. However, a change in the course of the river caused a draught that forced the people to migrate and settle on the banks of river, and these communities developed into towns. The new town was called Nakhon Chaisi or Sirichai, leaving Nakhon Pathom deserted for hundreds of years until the reign of King Rama IV. While His Majesty was in monk hood, he travelled to Nakhon Pathom and found the Phra Pathom Chedi that he regarded as the largest pagoda of all.
When King Rama IV ascended to the throne, he commanded that a bell shaped Chedi be built to cover the former Chedi. The surrounding area was also renovated and improved. He also commanded that a water canal be dug to ease commuting, which was called Chedi Bucha canal. During the reign of King Rama V, the construction of railways to the south began, at that time Nakhon Pathom was still a heavily forested area. King Rama V also commanded that the town be relocated from Tambon Thana, Amphoe Nakhon Chaisi, to the Phra Pathom Chedi area as it used to be. Nakhon Pathom has been there ever since. During the reign of King Rama VI, a palace was built at Tambon Sanam Chan as a temporary residence on his travels and many roads were constructed. A large bridge was also built over the Chedi Bucha canal, which His Majesty named “Saphan Charoensattha”. Later, he commanded that the name of Nakhon Chaisi be changed to Nakhon Pathom, but the name of the prefecture was still called “Nakhon Chaisi” until the reign of King Rama VII when the calling of the prefecture was ended. Nakhon Chaisi is now one of the districts in Nakhon Pathom.
Nakhon Pathom covers an area of 2,168 square kilometres or 542,081.6 acres. It is divided into seven administrative districts or Amphoe, they are: Amphoe Muang Nakhon Pathom, Amphoe Buddhamonthon, Amphoe Sam Phran, Amphoe Nakhon Chaisi, Amphoe Bang Len, Amphoe Kamphaeng Saen, and Amphoe Don Toom. Most of the areas are plains with no mountainous land, plateau are found in the west east of Amphoe Muang and Amphoe Kamphaeng Saen. The plains along the Tha Cheen River (Nakhon Chaisi River) are the location of Amphoe Nakhon Chaisi, Amphoe Sam Phran, and Amphoe Bang Len. These fertile lands provide agricultural area for people, thus most of the residents earn their living from agriculture; plantations, farming, growing food crops, and fruit orchards. Moreover, Nakhon Pathom is well known for pomelo, some call the Nakhon Pathom the sweet pomelo town.
This album features all of my favorite songs by the wonderful Irish Singer-Songwriter Gemma Hayes. "Two Step" my first favorite song of hers I heard on Grey's Anatomy, and since then this album ahs moved me in so many ways and has helped me think of things in different ways. Even though the songs may not be about the loss of a loved one, it gives off the feeling that it is. Especially with the songs, "Nothing Can" and "Horses". A song for the Teen with Angst would be "Another for the Darkness" and a song all about love, "Easy On The Eye". Every song is a great one that tells a wonderful story.
~Gotta Love Gemma Hayes~
