Same place as here but from a different angle, making it seems totally different...
I'm dedicating it to Coasterman ....
Growing up fast.
The black necked stilt chicks at Bombay Hook NWR are growing up very fast. They seem to be an inch taller every week, and if they are not already flying, they will be very soon.
The stilt parents were still extremely protective not allowing any other birds, including small shorebirds to come anywhere close to their chicks

47-031, RNLB Voluntary Worker as she did a fast pass along the beach at Selsey before heading east. Although I was above the tide level I was so intent on taking her photo that her wash got my left foot wet. Not a problem.
One more of the F-22 flight demonstration at N.A.S. Oceana, the same fast pass as my previous post. It's just too good to pass up... it looks fast standing still.
Our #KombiSplity was like this, then #Smoky60Series towing the #VelcroPalace was like a tortoise, then we got #AngelaMerc, and she is turbo charged and faster than our cars..

We didn't have to sing this to sell ours!
If I did not have to work, go to school, or take care of numerous other things, I would roam the streets of New York everyday shopping and taking photographs. But, I suppose that is not reality... yet. I have big hopes and dreams for the future! Anyways, I snapped this quick photograph while I was doing what I love- shopping. Although today I didn't accomplish much!

After several attempts, I was able to get the wing action and the details I wanted. This was taken with a Nikon D7000 coupled with a Nikkor 70-300mm VR lens.

Thanks for stopping by my photostream today - much appreciated.
Big rookie mistake - not checking ISO settings until too late at which time the waves were getting bigger and more dangerous so I had to leave the spot. I managed to get 6 seconds with a 15 stop ND filter and I did like the shot so I put it up anyway, noise and all.

This handsome Roe deer buck walked around me in a semi-circle, barking, just to let me know I had been identified as a 'predator' and therefore any further pursuit would be futile. He sported a wonderful pair of antlers. I have yet to find any dropped antlers in the wild, but hopefully my day will come.
You might be interested to know that my local newspaper has published an article about my photos today. It might be grey and cold outside, but I'm sure you'll love the colourful selection they've printed: t.co/3wSaGRcWmo
The flags at Burger King were pretty and the people who worked there probably thought I was crazy, but people probably think that a lot ( I have to lay on the ground to get a lot of my shots, nothing makes you look crazier than laying in the middle of the sidewalk).
