...Mother Nature gave us a storm this weekend, and a spectacular sunset and twilight.

Plus pretty cold weather.

Still wearing surfshorts though, because I´m stubborn.

A lengthy goods train hauled by 9f, 92134, on a visit from NYMR, heads south at Swithland Sidings on the GCR during a Timeline Events photo shoot.

Pancake tortoises are native to the area of Tanzania and Kenya. The species is thought to be the fastest tortoise in the world. They can quickly evade predators by scampering under rocks, and even climbing nearly vertical services. Unlike many other tortoises, if they find themselves on their backs, they can flip upright quickly.

Union Pacific ‘high speed’ SD40-2s No. 8073, 8063, 8041, and 8070 find themselves pulling a low priority, slow moving train through Grant Tower in Salt Lake City, Utah on Jan. 28, 1978. 100 UP SD40-2 units were geared to operate at 80 mph speeds on priority intermodal trains. They were typically sandwiched between two DDA40X units, also geared for 80 mph operation.

Shot these young ladies for a flyer a friend of mine is putting together. Charlie's Angels themed flyer for a guest bartender night at a local bar...

Big rookie mistake - not checking ISO settings until too late at which time the waves were getting bigger and more dangerous so I had to leave the spot. I managed to get 6 seconds with a 15 stop ND filter and I did like the shot so I put it up anyway, noise and all.
