So I've slowly been working on a mini-amusement park; And this is kinda a quick test for part of it, what do you think?
Dassault Mirage 2000D of the Couteau Delta tactical display team does a fast and low pass about 600knts and you can jus see the top of the fence to show how low they are.
A brilliant display, as always.
The Couteau Delta team comes from Escadrons de Chasse 2/3 'Champagne' and 3/3 'Ardennes at Nancy-Ochey.

Pancake tortoises are native to the area of Tanzania and Kenya. The species is thought to be the fastest tortoise in the world. They can quickly evade predators by scampering under rocks, and even climbing nearly vertical services. Unlike many other tortoises, if they find themselves on their backs, they can flip upright quickly.

This is the Boise River and at this point it's running through,
well, Boise, Idaho. I think this 'water feature' is man made but I can't see a reason as to why, except perhaps to provide a pool of water for fish, etc during low water levels in late summer. Further downriver but still within Boise, the city installed gates on the river that they use to create 'waves' that people can surf and kayak. (DSC_5635.jpg)

After several attempts, I was able to get the wing action and the details I wanted. This was taken with a Nikon D7000 coupled with a Nikkor 70-300mm VR lens.
