Spotted in Durham recently, Bojo, out clothes shopping. Perhaps he’s looking for a new cabinet too. 😂
Happy Monday everyone.
From the side, this beautiful peony's fancy interior becomes that much more evident. Background texture from Topaz Studio 2.
Thank you for your views and comments, all are appreciated! Have a great day and weekend!
I had thought this was a dahlia and fortunately, one of my contacts let me know that this showy flower is a new variety of coneflower. Thank you, Sharon!

I’ve been in charge of the café for the day at Pomponne and I’ve baked some big sweet muffins for your delight. How could you resist my sales pitch, especially backed up by this mix and match ensemble from tres blah, Absolut Vendetta, Zaara and MESH Agency? The icing on the cake/muffin is another view of the gorgeous newish hair from DeLa and the cheeky new pose from naughty Amanda at Signature Pose!

Taken for the Smile on Saturday theme of Fancy Fabrics. I have spent ages faffing around trying to get a shot I am happy with using all different fabrics but this is the best I could manage! The fabric is blurry just in case anyone thought it was out of focus! HSoS!
this is another image from the swimming pool that's only visible at low tide at The Dancing Ledge on Dorsets beautiful Jurrasic coast! I climbed down onto the ledge which is 6-8 feet down onto what seems like sheet ice.... I nearly didn't go as is was quite dangerous....... but after looking and seeing as tide was on its way out I reckoned id have time and so went for it.......
this is over two minute exposure with a 10 stop Lee filter and a CPL filter on the front
With its purple/pink flowers clustered tightly together on a tall stem, Foxglove is one fancy and beautiful flower.
Unlike a perennial which flowers every year, foxgloves are biennial, meaning they flower every other year.
They can be invasive, but because of their beauty, that can be a good thing for some gardeners.
They are quite toxic, so while they may be touched without ill effect, ingesting them by mouth will produce dangerous effects. So care should be taken when pets or children are in their proximity.
I captured these flowers with my birding telephoto lens set at 400mm, f/5.6, at 1/30th of a second handheld, and an ISO of 1100.
This is a shot I took during my holiday in Tenerife. The coast of "El Sauzal" is very rocky and there are several small bays where you can take a swim. These stairs lead down to the water and if you take a closer look you can see a ladder leading into the water on the other side of the small bay. When I took this picture there was high tide and the waves came crashing over the rocks and flooded the stairs, so swimming here would have been a bit risky. However, we found other swimming bays and natural pools which were more protected from the waves.

Tea is an aromatic beverage prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured or fresh leaves of Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to China, India and other East Asian countries.
For Crazy Tuesday's theme "tea or coffee".
So the theme for this week's Smile on Saturday group is "Fancy Fabrics". I looked around and I guess all my fabrics are pretty boring and not what I would call fancy. I asked Marybeth for something fancy, maybe sheer that would be fitting for an abstract and she brought out this costume skirt. It was gold and seemed cool so off I went. If you look at the first comment you can see the skirt and the set-up I've been using for just about everything except natural sunlight. I started the shoot with the Nikon 55mm and came up with a few things. I then wanted to incorporate some bubble bokeh so out came the Meyer Optik 50mm and I got a few more shots. Each time I shot a batch and reviewed I would find a couple more I liked! I thought about a triptych and wanted one more specific shot to round out the group. Instead I got the shot on the right! I readjusted the layout/lineup and decided to use the middle shot from the Nikon. The three images really wanted to be posted solo but I kept them grouped for my one submission to the group.
For the Smile on Saturday group. Theme: "Fancy Fabrics"
Images 1 & 3: Meyer Optik 50mm f/1.8 Oreston w/Nikon PK-12&13 Extension tubes (41.5mm Total), Single Image shot at f/1.8.
Image 2: Nikon 55mm f/2.8 NIKKOR Micro w/Nikon PK-12&13 Extension tubes (41.5mm Total), Single Image shot at f/2.8.
There are many little villages in Quebec that showcase local art in tasteful ways throughout their area. I have seen it with benches on the Main Street in Aylmer that look like sculptures but you can sit on them. Manhole covers on the street have neat art imprinted in the metal. In the towns we explored along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, people display carved wood or metal statues on their lawns, in front of churches and in beautiful small parks. This is a fence along a boardwalk in a small park that is being beautified beside the Chutes de la Rivières du Sud. You can see the spray coming from the waterfall behind it. Enjoy art in your community this summer! Happy Fence Friday!
Taken during a photoshoot at our camera club. The flowers are dried and placed on a light table. This helps with the translucency,
I myself like the delicate look and feel.
