Miss Bella sleepily showing off her fancy bows. I'm sure she just woke up from dreaming about rolling in mud.
What else is a guy supposed to do on a snowy weekend besides try out some new lighting equipment and getting some new "fancy selfies."
Stuck inside yesterday by the weather I decided to photograph a few of my Fancy Guppies.
I started this community in a 20 gal aquarium about this time last year with just 2 or three pairs and now have many many with more being born regularly.
Patterns and coloration change a bit with every generation. Unlike professional breeders I do not try to develop patters and colors through selective breeding. I do however enjoy noting the changes in coloration and patterns with each generation.
Mandy decided to have a Medieval themed Fancy Dress Party so we did. We got some music to and had a "blow" at the same time. There was some serious creative work going on here!
FLIGHT OF FANCY has a rich red silk flower base, with glass beads and fresh water pearls twisted on thin wire and nestled into the petals. The flower is framed by a hand-trimmed, bleached peacock feather, a saddle feather, and light marabou feathers.
The flower clips into hair with a very strong clip that can either be turned into a fabulous fascinator for your hair or worn on a hat, shoulder strap, or purse.
Perfect for bellydancers, unique wedding parties, and fantastically stylish people.

My Hero Arts clear stamp set (CL116 Fancy Scrolls) finally arrived yesterday, so I had to have a play and make something new. I decided to use two of the scrolls to create a flower and cut the shape around it. I added green gingham ribbon for the leafy bits as well as a green paper "ribbon" with the sentiment. Watercolor crayons added a bit of extra color to the flower, and the flower center is cut from a piece of decorative paper. The Hello stamp is from LP121 Bird Greetings
