you probably could have guessed, inspired by the lovely lissy elle. I tried something new.. I'm not sure about it.
I'm trying to urge fall to come in Texas or at least I can give the impression of it inside. I don’t think the seasons pay much attention to my desires otherwise it would be fall all the time😊
The chair that moves to indicate the day of the year is almost to the end of October so this is the peak of fall color.

This is from Waterfall 227 near Guntersville, Alabama. The outflow of this waterfall always has a wispy, ghostly feel to it. It really gives the effect of speed. The Autumn leaves create a colorful frame to this shot.
Autumnal colours at Falling Foss. Another shot which has grown on me, though I wasn't so struck, at first!
The sound of Falling Water will draw you closer and closer until you feel the cooler air that surrounds the falls. The smell in the air and the mist kissing your face. Got to love it.

A nice ending to a perfect Fall day in Montana. BNSF empty grain train X-LVWSLG8-02 glides across the causeway between the Clark Fork River and Frog Pond west of Trout Creek, Montana. This is between milepost 56 and 57 on Montana Rail Link's 4th Subdivision.
My friend Charlie and I visited this park last year. The sunlight was harsh and caused some problems with lens flare and lots of contrast but we made do. I'd like to go back under different weather conditions because it was cold.

A paradise of more than 20,000 acres sprawled across the eastern top of the rugged Cumberland Plateau, Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of the most scenic and spectacular outdoor recreation areas in America. Laced with cascades, gorges, waterfalls, streams, and lush stands of virgin hardwood timber, the park beckons those who enjoy nature at her finest. While Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is the highest waterfall in the eastern United States, other waterfalls in the park are Piney and Cane Creek Falls and Cane Creek Cascades.
