for a natural early fall colors in Oklahoma I did not have to go far to find this patch of wild shoemake in red foliage, with wild golden rod and wild blue asters!
Dramatic conditions on a crisp Fall morning in Minnesota, as CP 576 rolls a loaded oil can South down the River Subdivision. This train will continue down the River to the Quad Cities and peel West toward Kansas City for interchange with KCS and eventual delivery to the Gulf via Port Neches.
The sky was over my mountains today was clear, no depth, no mood, an hour down the road however a small patch of clouds sat above the peaks. Despite wanting to stay in for the day and work on photos from earlier, I decided the fall colors deserved the attention. So I pack up the gear, hit the road and watch as I approach the dark clouds over the area, up once more into the parkway, around the twists turns. I am not as familiar with the area for photographic locations, but found a few interesting compositions to sink my teeth into. A few shots I couldn’t get composed slipped through my fingers, but that’s alright, there’s always next time. This particular shot I was quite happy with, clouds dipping into the mountains, trees beginning to turn more vibrantly, lovely light and shadow. Around every bend is a new opportunity.

Hidden in Upstate New York is a fairy tale park where historical structures and simple drainage blend to create magic. This is Watkins Glen State Park. I made a special trip to this location from Oregon, twice in one season, just to be sure I caught the splendor this location provides. I know, you live in Oregon and you went to New York to photograph Fall? I know. But we don't have anything like this. I had to be there in the dark, before the dawn to get this without hordes of people in the frame.

After a long period, finally we had a little rain in Istanbul..This year it's much more warmer than it used to be; during november it was around 17-20 degrees, which is about 5-7 degrees higher than the average. At this beautiful morning, it rained and turned leaf colours into bright, washed the ground that enabled the reflection..
I used my 18-55 mm to get a wider angle effect, used POV, in order to get a sort of tilt shift lense mood, try to keep human out of the image, so it looked like as fall belonged only to leaves...

There is no shortage of beautiful fall landscapes in the east coast of Canada, especially here in Nova Scotia
After a fairly gloomy start to the day chasing POWA, the weather got increasingly better during the afternoon chase of Pan Am's west bound OCS. After a dry summer and early fall, the foliage for this year was mediocre at best. Here at Belgrade Stream, there was a nice pocket of color and the stream was calm giving a nice reflection.
You know just falling around a bit or you know, Jacking.
Had someone ask me today if Sapio = fucking your brains out, I said EXACTLY! It like he gets me.
