Hello Autumn, my favorite season. Wish it lasted longer.
Here's a view of some typical fall foliage along north Idaho's Coeur d'Alene river. We do have more evergreens's than deciduous trees here but those we do have pop nicely amidst the greens of the conifers.
Just returned from a wonderful fall outing, camping in central Idaho and western Montana. Gotta love those 20 degree sunrise experiences.

One more photo of my recent trip to Northern New Hampshire. Here you can see a part of Lake Chocorua during late fall with US Route 16 at the back. Due to work and study, unfortunately I missed the peak of fall foliage at the White Mountain and thus I had to go a little southern to capture fall colors on the trees. I was surprised by the colors on this photo as I took it right at noon time on a very bright day and I was afraid that it would be completely washed out by the strong light.
Dolly Sods Preserve area in West Virginia is covered by blueberry plants that during the fall make the area cover with red color. This photo was taken last week. I loved the way the clouds were pointing to the tree where the sun is. I took this image on my knee so to let the observer to be part of the scene.
La riserva naturale di Dolly Sods in West Virginia e' molto popolare tra i fotografi per la conformazione rocciosa e le piante di mirtillo che in autunno trasformano l'altopiano in un mare rosso. La foto di questo post e' stata scattata la scorsa settimana al mattino. Ho usato un grandangolo con un inquadratura dal basso nel tentativo di fornire all'osservatore la sensazione di essere immerso nel mare rosso.

Went to the arboretum yesterday and took lots of pumpkins shots. But to my suprise butterflies were everywhere. So needless to say I spent my day running after them. They were so beautiful!
It seems like an eternity since I snapped a photo for Flickr as work has been very busy so far this year. (more than normal with a Grand Opening at a new facility that has been renovated).
It felt great to get back out after a 5-month absence.
