Back at Monocacy Creek. This time my little buddy was closer, and he picked a blue sky for the background.
This time when I looked up I saw Maple, Oak and Birch leaves.
Most of the Maple leaves have already fallen. It won't be long now and they will all be gone. Then what will I take pictures of ?? : (

Deep East Texas.
Fall is coming to East Texas, and I look forward to documenting it over the coming weeks. I never got around to posting this photo I took in early December last year, when American beech and several other hardwood species were in peak fall color. Pictured here is a mesic hardwood-dominated ravine. The trees are much larger than the photo lets on. Note the dense thicket of giant cane covering much of the ground.
I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Here are a few shots of the fall colors that I captured around the Auburn area! It's been a little sad watching the colors fade over the last week...I guess winter will be here soon : (

Crape Myrtle tree with fall colors. There are so many varieties of this tree, but the colors during the Spring, Summer, or Fall, always stand out.
The color of this is making me giddy with anticipation for Fall to hurry up & make the leaves…BEAUTIFUL!!

My New England fall colors expedition is continued and i am practically lost in the mesmerizing beauty of this area. i have turned off my GPS and just flying around. so i am really not sure where i took this photo but who cares these vistas never look the same. they change their colors every day and try to look more prettier. have a great week ahead my friends.

Went out this morning to photograph some deer, hoping to get some large bucks. Didn't get to photograph any bucks but did see some does and all the yellow flowers made for a nice backdrop.
