"The Private Military Force DARKWATER is invading Berlin and pushing towards the city core. The European Union , weakened by the conflicts in Italy and southern Germany, needs to evacuate the city. They have to hold the city core in order to provide a safe evacuation for all remaining civilians and non military personnel. EU Shock Troops are tasked to ambush and attack incoming DARKWATER ground vehicles at strategic sides all over Berlin-Friedrichstadt, the bank district."
A few personal notes:
-For the Lego Military Annual Build Competition
-The Diorama is 80x64 studs big, so it is for the big scale category. It has the theme Battlefield 2052 interpreted with two of The Purge´s main factions, DARKWATER and the European Union.
-That was also quite a big challenge, since the figures needed to suit the faction standards perfectly, while still being a new design.
-All figures and vehicles shown in this project were only posted during the competition´s running time and should therefore be new.
-The Diorama features Power Function LEDs in both buildings.

With the kids starting their first day back to school today, I thought I would post some of my Fall cookies from last year (before I joined flickr). Usuallly the beginning of school would make me itch with Fall cookie fever but not yet... we going through a heatwave right now and the thought of turning on an oven is just not gonna happen!!
These are an assortment of Fall/ Thanksgiving cookies that I put out in an e-flyer for my regular customers (friends and family etc). I usually have a few options; minis, bigger baskets of cookies, and individual cookies.
I was at this location to do a family portrait session. I arrived a little early and while testing the light this gem was just aglow with great light and colors.

we have just finished moving and getting used to living in a huge house:) but so far we are loving it:) i know i have been missing out on your shots, but please have some patience with me for a little while longer:) i hope things will be normal soon:)

Heading over the massive Huson bridge on the south edge of Jay Cooke State Park in northern Minnesota. An exceptional site in the fall, this location is on private property, however the gentleman who owned it was very friendly and always accommodating. Having not been to this spot since I took this, I am told it is very grown in now unfortunately.
you can be sure ill catch your fall.
eh, not happy with this one bit... but kenzie, who i met today, is awesome!! i want to shoot with her again. :D
its actually insane how busy ive been, and how much ive got to fit in before winter comes... ahhh, a bit stressful at times, but im more than thankful.

The other hawk.......waiting where there is usually a bird feeder hung up. I took it down as to not lure the local birds into the hawks.
Argent is still ignoring the pretty maple next door (and the mix of rain and snow falling outside). If it doesn't smell like cat food or isn't warm like a heater, Argent doesn't care about it.

autumn still life in a jar - mixed media - the jar is decorated with a pretty yellow leaf, vintage lace and words "falling leaves" ... inside there are autumn leaves in wax attached to twigs with stitches
week 39/52 of the jar project that looks at refraction, reflection, distortion, opacity, light, bokeh, colours, textures and subject matter through the medium of a glass jar or vessel ... with focus on a title containing only one word
