"a silent hush and the muted soft crunch of snow, as the world is draped in a blanket of glistening white"
*Ok, so there's no fireworks or something in this image that signifies new year but I'd like to think white as the color of fresh start, new beginnings to new opportunities. Happy New Year everyone & best wishes for 2009!

I love these frayed, frizzle frazzled lace-like Tulips!
On the Continent, for some reason they call them ‘frisée’ which means curly? Mmmm
I like it so much I took a very close-up. LOL
An 'oddity' like the petal is a photographic bonus.
Have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)
