This is in upper South Carolina at the base of the Smoky Mountains not far from Table Rock State Park. It's a 3 bracket shot processed in Photomatix Pro. Also used the brush less color on the split rail fence to remove a green cast and brush more detail on the barn in Onone Perfects Effects 4.

I took this on Sunday after Brickfest at the Convention Center. The dreamy blue sky and pink blossoms are absolutely intoxicating. I can't get enough of them.

Wasp feasting on an Ocotillo bud pod along the Rancho Viejo trail in Big Bend Ranch State Park, Presidio County, Texas.
One of the last F unit leaders up here was this westbound on November 2, 1979. Extra 212B is working up the hill west of Trout Lake with 502C and 63 cars. A few years before and I probably wouldn't have bothered shooting this job with the cloud cover but the end was near and I was off and running with my beat up 70 Chevy in pursuit. I shot this job multiple times so you will see more of it sooner or later.
