Glacial silt in the waters of Lake Louise make for a unique contrast to the fall colors of the shrubs along the lake.
ODC~ Rule of thirds
so close to the thirds lines, I thought this would work fine!
I love the left photos, almost as much as I love face painting. Beware!

Franklin Loyd Wright's "Falling Waters; Pa. Home...Fallingwater, also known as the Edgar J. Kaufmann Sr. Residence, is a house designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1934 in rural southwestern Pennsylvania, 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, and is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The house was built partly over a waterfall in Bear Run at Rural Route 1 in the Mill Run section of Stewart Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, in the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains.
Hailed by Time magazine shortly after its completion as Wright's "most beautiful job," the house was used as inspiration for Ayn Rand's novel The Fountainhead, and is listed among Smithsonian magazine's Life List of 28 places "to visit before ...it's too late."Fallingwater was featured in Bob Vila's A&E Network production, Guide to Historic Homes of America.[6] It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966.In 1991, members of the American Institute of Architects named the house the "best all-time work of American architecture" and in 2007, it was ranked twenty-ninth on the list of America's Favorite Architecture according to the AIA.
A beautiful fall display of sunflowers near the entrance of Silver Dollar City. Just a part of an overall cornucopia of beautiful blooms. Feliz Quinta Flores!
My first Fall cookies. A new spin on Fall Foliage.
Everyone makes leaf and acorn cookies, so I thought Trees an a squirrel HOLDING an acorn would be something different.
I used the trees from our Holiday Tree collection.

These tracks look like they are way out in the country somewhere, but are actually in the city of Pontiac. I lucked out and got no cars or people (especially since they cross a really busy road!) and did get great fall colors and a nice sky.

The Autumn colours are very evident now, with lots of falling leaves. The Fly Agaric stood proud in it's Autumn surroudings. You will either like or loathe the falling leaves 😊
A Canadian Photography group I belong to has a weekly photo challenge. The theme is announced each Monday and you have a week to create a photo to suit the theme. Yesterday the theme was “Fall Colours”. I was thinking of that as I drove my daughter to her University. I passed this familiar old barn that I’ve photographed many times before. This time however, it was alive with colour from the adjacent trees and leaves that carpeted the old barn’s roof. I dropped my daughter off and headed back to the old barn to capture this shot.

Some farm buildings seen amidst the colours of fall.
Photo taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and M.Zuiko 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro. I cropped this one in from the top and bottom to stress the layered view from foreground to background.
Benvenuto Autunno.

I love to see the changing colours of the leaves in Fall. This was taken at my daughter's home in Halton Hills, Ontario.
