"Falling"
This week I fell. I fell into the foolishness of misleading myself into the concept for this week and instead of photographing the right concept, I photographed the concept of the following week.
I had the picture ready for days.Ready to be shared today, when I realized my mistake.
In record time, I had to think fast and photograph again today.
Today, I had the time limited for everything and still, with the natural light going down quickly, I photographed and I fulfilled this week's concept.
Ideas fall on my mind every day, that's when and why I got inspired this fast. 🌠
This is certainly not the best shot of this whole challenge. But it's what this is all about, a challenge and it can not always go perfectly well.

As I slowly return to my photography, I'm also preparing to return to my faux bois (concrete wood) work. It seems every fallen stick has a story to tell before it feeds the fire for warmth.
The leaves are falling in the woods and the Squirrels are stealing each others stash of food, so much fun just watching these crafty little creatures and lovely to see.

Well, vacation is over, and so is the summer, with sadness I confess, this great time of the year also has to end.
Vacation was great, time with my family and friends, dinners, birthday and even a chance to play with a great quartet this weekend in a nice venue in Harlem-Ny.
It was so much fun.
We played Mongo, Hermeto, Jaco, Mingus, Airto and other great musicians tunes.

I felt like writing a poem with this in mind.
I felt like if I was in a movie, like a star, and my wife was playing the biggest part.
She was the star of my dream...
But them, the lazy summer feeling took over.
Well, I hope to have more summers ahead of me, and be able to finish it....

This is a look back on a photo I took from 2018 in Waterton Canyon Colorado. I have not had a chance to get out this year to photograph the autumn colors. So you get an oldie but goodie imho.

I am trying so hard to get out there in this great weather and sensational colors. This image was shot in on my way to work. Not much of a story to tell here. Single frame, no bracketing. Yes, the tracks are active so I had to be alert. Felt silly shooting this in a tie, but I have to do what I have to do.
