Day 287 ~ 14 October 2011. Annie with fall leaves.

One of the few remaining spots where freshly fallen leaves carpet the ground. My Argus Super 75 decided to recline and take in the final fireworks...

Fall starts early this year, some of the leaves already changed their colors.

Taken at Taihu Lake, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China

The weather has been so beautiful these last couple of days! I went home yesterday for the night and took some pictures. All of our leaves are changing color and it is so pretty!

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. I've been really busy with school. I also took a Little for my sorority and last week was big/little week. It was a lot of fun. :)

The 29th is the last day of my 365 project. I did take a photo every single day though I didn't post them all here. I learned a lot from the project. Mostly that I never want to feel rushed or pressured to create my work. I also never want to put something out that I'm not proud of. Photography is my passion, but I also have other commitments in my life most importantly college. Maybe sometime in the future is I get a spare year I'll try this project again. But for now I'm happy just creating.

Thank you to everyone who has ever viewed a photo of mine. Your support means so much to me. I love this community and you all are my constant inspiration.

Have a great week!

Much love,

Caitlyn.

At the center of the mountain is the Lac Hertel, a lake in a glacially-formed depression in the middle of the various summits. It covers an area of 0.3 square kilometers, and has a maximum depth of 9 m (30 ft). It is fed by three permanent streams; a fourth flow from the lake toward the Richelieu river. The lake serves as a secondary reservoir of drinking water to the region, and, as such, swimming, fishing and boating are forbidden.[7]

The central position of the lake in the mountain has led to claims that states Mont Saint-Hilaire is a volcanic caldera. However, the lake is actually the result of glacial erosion, and in no way an ancient volcanic crater.

Enchanting Fall colors to brighten a gloomy day.

As the season is drawing to a close there will be winter snow ahead. Blessed to live in a area that brings four seasons to the valley.

Thank you all for your warm visits, comments, faves and invites.

Just getting to some old photos...

I walk by these trees almost everyday with my dog. I decided to get a different view of them using a wide angle lens.
