Wow..... its hard to hate fall when it looks like this.... :D I will upload more photos tomorrow!!
To some great for fall Anna Maria Horner prints (Waltz in Poem and Echinacea in Dim) I added some rich orange, muted mustard, intense coral and fancy amaranth. All was supplemented by navy and brown prints to make the colorway more sober.

September 22 at 9:38 the sun crosses the Equator heading south to the Tropic of Capricorn, this is my favorite time as the sun makes this trip. Equal night and day as the sun crosses the Equator and then the shortest day when it gets to the Tropic of Capricorn, that is for the Northern Hemisphere.
Thilia strolled down the path. Fall was coming again, like so many before. She had seen so many before and tucked away in a fuzzy part of her memory were the falls she spent as a tree. Her arms branches reaching to the stars, her legs roots reaching deep in the ground. Her hair the glowing leaves crowned in sunlight. Tall and proud she stood, the guardian she was. Vaguely she remembers these falls and deep down she knows they were the most beautiful memories of fall she has.

As delicate as they look, Fall crocuses, like their Spring cousins that pop up through the snow, thrive in cold frosty temps....amazing. :)
