Thank you all!

It all started with a fall.

Everything is about a fall. The fall creates the state we need so we can find our way up.

Falling in love must be one of the most crucial falls when it comes to experiences,in a human beings' life.

That form of falling is the most significant state which is responsible for shaping a person's character.

I keep falling for you everyday.

And I can't thank you enough for that.

From my trip to Tennessee a few weeks ago. We hiked to the base of the big falls. This is a panorama because an 18mm lense is not wide enough to get the entire falls into the shot.

That's a pano of 5 shots taken with a tele-zoom lens at about 70mm each (vertical frames). Stitched together, they form this nice view of the beautiful Cadini di Misurina, red under the sunset light.

Photo taken during a walk in the beautiful Blenheim palace park next to oxford. England

I'm so far behind on processing!

After a fantastic trip to Yosemite, I've posted a grand total of 1 image from it. Once I got back home, I went into fall colour mode and had some pretty epic road trips. Since the snow is flying here today and fall is very much over, I feel like I better get those shots out and come back to the Yosemite stuff afterwards.

On our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, I hit the road solo for what would become a fantastic adventure covering 4 days, 3 nights, and over 2000 kms of driving.

Lots more stories to come but I'll start it off with this image along the shores of the Mighty Madawaska on the eastern side of Algonquin Park. I spent the first night here and while this side of Algonquin doesn't hold the intense fall colours that the western side does, it certainly had some gems to show off.

Thanks for looking...much more to come.

Did some lifestyle shooting this past weekend and, fortunately, made it home in time to snap this from our roof.

I'm also pretty sure that the Nikon 35/1.4 is my favorite lens, ever.

This photo was taken at my apartment complex.

Silver among the reds

I always have a hard time describing the color of Ripley's coat - it's not orange, it's not rust, it's not brown . . . today I figured out the best way to describe it is "like the colors of fall."

Also an update - I am not done with my renovation yet, but what is left might have to wait until spring since the weather is not cooperating. I also started a new job a few weeks ago since the company I had been with for 12 years was being sold. It has been a very busy and stressful time, but hopefully the worst of it is now over and I can get back to doing more of what I love - taking photos!

I used demerara sugar in this shot, because the crystals are larger and I though it might give a clearer picture of the fall.
