Took a quick trip to Arkansas for the past few days to see some fall color. They had record heat the last week so most of the leaves were drying up and past peak. The sun was bright, it was warm, and there was smoke or something in the air, but it was still beautiful. I had no idea there were view with endless color there. Wish I would have known about this years ago. This picture was taken on scenic route 7.

Who has not tried to take off, never fell. The most important thing in his goal - is the ability to stand up as it did not hurt, the ability to climb, breaking all the blood and soul and body. Either way, it is necessary to continue to live. If you do not stand, no one will lift your feet. Either way, you continue to breathe. We must continue to fight to the last heartbeat. I will not give. Never.

Yeah, when it comes down to it, I just like this shot too much to only post it as an outtake. This bridge is along the path that winds around the park (there are tonnnnnns of bridges) and I felt very private and alone here until the walker told me I was "doing it the hard way" and asked if I'd like him to take the picture for me. Ha.
Emmet falls into the abyss.
I was playing with aluminum foil as a background (Thanks clement127!), when I realized it reminded me of this scene. So I quickly put Emmet in front of the foil.
I had to add the color in post processing (Nik Color EFEX Pro 4). I made a few attempts to add color to the background while taking the photo but I didn't get the effect I wanted so, I used Nik instead. Hopefully it all works and hopefully it resembles that scene from The Lego Movie :-)
Autumn is kicking off nicely in the Northeast Kingdom. Pockets of color here and there, but may not last long or peak if rain and high winds have their way.
Birds get the best views indeed.
The leaves have all fallen, slight touch of colour in the low lying underbrush highlighted by the sun coming up. Stark contrast to a week ago when fall and all it's splendor was on display

I really appreciate them, but I am finding that they are getting out of control and I am spending way too much time trying to keep up with them. I would rather spend my Flickr time commenting on my contacts' streams. Thanks for understanding!
North of Chiloquin, Oregon there are aspen groves that display brilliant color in mid-October. The northbound Coast Starlight is passing them in 2003.
Very busy today...will get caught up on all your wonderful photos this afternoon! Thank you so much for all your views and kind comments!!! I really appreciate your time and effort!!!
Praying for all those affected by Sandy. Be careful and stay safe.
As temperatures are supposed to get down to 15 degrees tonight I sure do miss Fall. Winter is definitely my least favorite season. The bitter cold, the ice, the snow driving all not my favorite.
I took this photo with my 50mm. I wouldn't normally use that for closeup shots but I felt like experimenting. I do love the different perspective this lends and of course that lovely bokeh my 50mm gives :)
I could hardly leave this person's wonderful colorful bush! Is it any wonder I spent probably a half an hour there?!
Haven't really done many river shots this year but this stretch of water with a fall at the end looked 'nice' !! .....I especially like the dappled reflections
Would like to thank everyone for getting 'First Light at Menai Bridge ' onto Front Page .....really very pleased !!!
Would love that SS if you can sort it for me Dave ......
Weird things start to happen with the bokeh when the infinity focal plane is only 20cm away.
Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D with a Fhotodiox adaptor and a no name 11mm macro macro tube. Curves, colour balance, clarity, and split toning in Macphun Luminar.
I was waiting for someone on the other side to come into the frame to give this scene some scale but that never happened so this unfortunate tourist will have to do.
Fall falls is a direct translation of the Icelandic name Dettifoss and it's the most powerful waterfall in Europe.

It all started with a fall.
Everything is about a fall. The fall creates the state we need so we can find our way up.
Falling in love must be one of the most crucial falls when it comes to experiences,in a human beings' life.
That form of falling is the most significant state which is responsible for shaping a person's character.
I keep falling for you everyday.
And I can't thank you enough for that.
