Last ride of the fall. Far North Bicentennial Park, South Fork Campbell Creek, Anchorage, Alaska. It snowed the next day. Totally blanketed the entire area.
Just added the basket this summer. I like it so much that we have them on all of our bikes now.

Fall foliage icm
Long week at work. So, I woke up early with an idea to find one tree with color and try icm (intentional camera movement). Here, I just zoomed the lens while taking the photo...technically not icm.....I think I like this one.
She was at Kohl's too. I thought about getting her, but she's definitely not worth $15.99 :P I love her hair color, but I'm not a big fan of her outfit :S
On EXPLORE
In my garden, this flower was falling on the water in the little water lilly pond ...
And I followed that falling
I just love how lovely... that water touch this flower. Seeing tihs pond with Frangipani on water reminds me of spa atmosphere or Bali garden.
Well this little pond becomes just memory because neighbor kids played football and the hit of the ball made leakage...
(added)... Actually I get these colors right fron camera by spot exposure. I tried PS to adjust exposure by level and curve but it changes worse... so just framed it.. I also love this rich colors and also the layers of water tension surface

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

We have already had snow, but most has melted away, it's only a matter of time before the fields are covered in a blanket of snow!

From a beautiful, frosty Fall morning a couple of weeks ago.
Good luck to everyone on the east coast as Hurricane Sandy roars up the coast and makes landfall. Stay safe! So far it looks like most of us here in Massachusetts will miss the brunt of her wallop but it's never over 'til it's over.
Last weekend was probably the last of the peak fall colors for Alabama and I, along with two good friends, Outsideshot (Joe Miller) and Mike Callahan took advantage of it by going to Cheaha State Park and a small campground called Chinnabee Lake.
A wonderful story how "Chinnabee Silent Trail" was formed.

Thanks for the learning and laughs...you guys are great!

These leaves look like tehy were ready to fall off a tree. They do not have very much color. The weather was a little cool outside.

On the Italian Alps in Piedmont the Zegna Oasis offers the ideal botanical variety to express fall in its splendor of yellows, oranges, reds, browns, plums and violets.
