so basically i thought it'd be a good idea to use iso 800 for the meteor shower, you know since im shooting in pitch black ass.
wrong idea. the rebel xs is truly not designed for anything above iso 800 when its completely dark out.
sure this photo is fairly well exposed, but the noise here is just unbearable.

For the hubs' birthday back in November (when he was still the boyfriend), I decided to make pancakes- however, only stopped to realize I didn't know how AFTER I'd created these two masses of batter that more closely resembled chicken fried steak or dog vomit. THIS is why I am not allowed to cook.

Waaaaaahhh! My macaroons were terrible. They tasted great, but got a clear fail for presentation...better luck next time!
This morning we had a nice sunrise. I took several photos and after going through them several times to select the best one, I finally decided I had fallen in love with this one which is the one in which technically I have failed 100%.
But the failed sunrise has something special that traps me in this ambience. So I will keep this one for you flickers.
See in comments another one with better technique but...
This face up was a fail. I messed up and tried to hide it by giving her facial tattoos. It's the first face up I've ever done so you can't judge me too badly.
The Anon on the left is pointing out the obvious.
The Scientologist on the right is attempting to cast Anonymous in a bad light. He's not doing a very good job of blending in.
The CoS operatives who try to blend in with Anonymous are picked out quite easily and quickly, then followed with "Fail!" signs.
A loose piece of mask got wrapped into the film, giving light all the way it needed to ruin the pictures. Well, is it really ruined?

Two failed Trans-pennine class 170's stand on the crossover at Doncaster blocking the fast lines and causing havoc for 15 minutes.

Another car crashes into another traffic control box on North Figueroa. If only there we had the road engineering that could help prevent this AND create bike lanes on Figueroa.
Adolescent crow that fell of its nest. I couldn't really get too close to it, without it running away in panic. I didn't want to scare it needlessly.
!FAIL!
Man, I love Macs, and they love me. Here, the install disc just boots into a bucket of fail each time. Heck forbid it gave a useful error message. And this computer is fresh back from Apple Care!
