Jonathan Hoefler examines the cut of Helvetica Bold supplied on early Macs. He pointed out about a dozen flaws altogether.

It's bad.

I wanted to do something like the Black Ops MP5, but I failed.

A moonflower that failed to open.

Or, Close! but no cigar.

Designing kilt hose for my husband, but row gauge on my swatch LIED. 2" too big around. Damnnit.

Starting over with two needle sizes smaller to see if that compresses my row gauge the ootch neceesary.

Ok, you can't really see much of the band, but the colours are lovely.

After several failed rainy seasons, Somalia is again gripped by a severe drought. In the worst affected areas, inadequate rainfall and lack of water has wiped out crops and killed livestock, while communities are being forced to sell their assets, and borrow food and money to survive. The United Nations has warned that unless a massive and urgent scale up of humanitarian assistance takes place in the coming weeks, famine could soon be a reality in some of the worst drought-affected areas in Somalia.

As of the beginning of January, the number of people in need of humanitarian assistance in Somalia has increased from 5 million in September 2016 to over 6.2 million, more than half of the country’s population. The situation for children is especially grave. Some 363,000 acutely malnourished children are in need of critical nutrition support, including life-saving treatment for more than 71,000 severely malnourished children. UNICEF is requesting US$66 million under the 2017 Humanitarian Response Plan to meet the humanitarian needs of children.

The evening of the 5th day of our Rhine Cruise saw us leaving Koblenz and heading downriver towards Cologne, and it was time for some entertainment put on by the staff. What a fun evening!

This gal was supposed to be a circus tightrope walker, and got several gentlemen from the audience, including my husband, to hold the rope tight. After a number of failed attemps, since the fellows couldn't hold the rope tight when she tried to get on, she hauled out her wet laundry and proceeded to hang it on the tightrope turned clothesline! No, the photo I added was none of these...

Just a failed shot that I pushed out trying to submit to a camera club contest. It looks great save for the scarf on the left. Likely a casualty of over processing.

Where's the black gone?

I've dumped the chemistry but too tired to print on ... tomorrow night maybe.

Epic Fail by the city planners

This is the "rear exhaust hanger" off my newly restored 1967 MGB GT. It failed within six months and 200 miles. I carefully mounted it, too, so there was no torsional stress on the mount. Repro parts are incredibly frustrating.

Another fine picture sent to me by a sales rep I work with. Why this knee failed I am not sure.

Well, fail tables I guess is more like it. Forgot the beers, got bounced on every attempt, and my camera battery wasn't charged (DOH!) so only got these two blurry shots (not even from the right angle...these were actually goin downhill more than flat) before it died altogether. Fail. The night was saved by a few Young's Winter Warmers and Affligem Holidays ales at Doyle's after.

I was looking at the IE developer blog when this happened.

This menu is displayed at my nail salon.

It's Like Science with Sarah Newswanger

I found a recipe for perogies in a Russian cook book, and it made no sense to my intuition how it would work out... but I went with it, and I admittedly don't like it. These have ground beef filling (why? if you're making perogies, would you go with something so plain...) This dough baked to be like harder bread, and the ground beef on the inside dried up pretty bad. It was difficult to eat these without a drink on the side.

Damnit, almost got the whole Fails..

clear, to us anyways. Not all PPF is made the same way. Most films have acrylic topcoats that over time wear and yellow. These two features not only diminish the pleasing aesthetics but they also affect removability. Worn and crazed clear bra means an $$$expensive$$$ removal. Stick with us and you will not only recieve top notch film, but top notch customer service as well. We are here to answer all of your questions and concerns. Don't hesitate, call today! 469-522-7777

The back of our programs had paper airplane folding instructions on them for folks to through at us at the end of the ceremony. It was super fun and I couldn't stop laughing but it didn't translate in the photos. You can see one here at the top right corner.

it is pants when things don't work :(
