so basically i thought it'd be a good idea to use iso 800 for the meteor shower, you know since im shooting in pitch black ass.

wrong idea. the rebel xs is truly not designed for anything above iso 800 when its completely dark out.

sure this photo is fairly well exposed, but the noise here is just unbearable.

This morning we had a nice sunrise. I took several photos and after going through them several times to select the best one, I finally decided I had fallen in love with this one which is the one in which technically I have failed 100%.

But the failed sunrise has something special that traps me in this ambience. So I will keep this one for you flickers.

I spent half an hour and gave up. I couldn't find two well-matched source images and got sick of color-correcting and fixing perspective. That and I don't know if the new packaging is really worth salvaging.

If anyone wants to give it a go, I have a big-ish version of the old design. with a lot of the branding stamped out.
