Dozens of Oreo variants tile a wall in a tight grid, red velvet, birthday cake, lemon, mint, Peeps, and plain chocolate packages arranged edge to edge until the individual flavors blur into pure pattern and color. The wall reads at a glance as abundance, but the museum's framing turns it into an indictment: Oreo has released hundreds of limited and permanent flavor variants since the 1990s, and a wall this dense makes the flavor-extension strategy look less like innovation and more like a brand running out of ideas by repeating the same one.
Flavor proliferation of this kind is a familiar pattern in packaged food, where a successful core product spins off variant after variant chasing incremental sales, sometimes to genuine success and just as often to consumer fatigue and shelf clutter that actively works against the original brand's clarity. The exhibit doesn't single out one specific failed flavor so much as indict the volume itself, using repetition as the joke.
Photographing the wall flat and filling the entire frame edge to edge denies the eye any single focal point, forcing the same experience of oversaturation that the display is making its argument about, dozens of nearly identical blue packages differentiated only by a flavor name most visitors have never tried and will likely never see again.

If a fansite (or LUG, loosely) gets free sets from The LEGO Group, why would they stupidly allow them to be used as prizes in a contest that allows for racially offensive, religiously and humanly insensitive, and downright insulting MOCs?
For shame! Not just to Eurobricks and their so-called "Ambassadors", but to The LEGO Group for supporting fansites like this. There are dozens and dozens of other LUGs who would be grateful for such Set donations, and who would be responsible (and mature) enough to use them appropriately!!

We met up with an old friend of Linds' at a bar near the Seattle football stadium. We'd looked for tickets on Stubhub, but not worth $250+ per ticket.
But wandering near the stadium before the game, a dude told us he could get us into the Bud Light Club. The club wasn't real, but he scammed us in, and we spent the first half wandering the upper deck of the stadium watching the game.
Left at halftime for another Eater dinner. Nothing big happened, right?

The full title of this book is "Women & Analysis", and is supposed to be the history of brave women making strides in a historically male field. I think it's pretty safe to say that the placement of the Dewey Decimal System sticker is a Fail. Spotted at the CSU East Bay library.

Our house was built in 1926, so it's not surprising the infrastructure fails every now and then. We didn't get affected, must be on another phase from the transformer.
I wanted a Kryssy portrait but she wasn't being very cooperative. Rob got down to try to keep her still and relaxed, I focused - and she promtly got up and wandered off as I snapped!
