I tested out a Polaroid Pronto! camera with a pack of B&W Impossible Film while on a walk in a snowy ravine in Barrie, Ontario this past winter, and the camera I was testing was a complete fail!
Improper exposure (obviously) and what's more, the frog tongue always jammed the photo in the camera, requiring me to extract it with pliers. Even when the tongue was held out slightly the exposure was still dead wrong.
I plan on putting the remainder of the film into the storied "pink polaroid"
the kid on the right's roman candle worked fine, but the other kid's plopped out & spun out because it was a dud or whatever, so it exploded on the ground on accident right under our car.
this photo just needs background. but it's cool right.
This is a great example of how NOT to take a photo of a snowboarder jumping. It's so wrong in so many ways...
This was the first time I tried to make a dish named Cotechinata. Oh, it looks delicious here. But let me tell you, every bit of that white part is pork fat. Pork fat, while delicious in small amounts, is over-powering in amounts this large. We couldn't eat it, even though it tasted good. The filling and the tomato sauce it was cooked in were consumed quite heartily, however.
I remember reading in the El Paso paper about a woman trekking up the Franklins with concrete and water in order to build a memorial to the B-36 crew that crashed and died near this spot. The Texas Parks people got after her because the land is part of the Franklin Mountain State Park system. At some point they were going to make her take it down but obviously that was a stupid demand.
At any rate, that woman was a better man than I am because she had to schlepp water and cement up some steep slopes with no path.
I don't remember the rest of the story or her name, I tried to google for it but found nothing. Too bad.

We are the proud and lucky parents of Hannah, who will turn 9 this November 2010.
The first year of her life was normal, she then developed a skin-rash and failed gaining weight. In the beginning of 2003 after thorough examinations the diagnosis JMML was confirmed. After a successful search for a stemcell donor she received her new cells in June the same year and thereafter further treatment and check-ups in Uppsala Sweden.
The last check-up in June this year was fine and now more than 7 years have passed since her transplant and she is now in her third year in school. She has had a GVH of the liver which initially was severe and she has needed a long term medication with Cyclosporin which eventually was withdrawn and she is now fine.
She sings in a choir and is enjoying life like any other schoolgirl at her age. She has two loving older brothers and a sweet younger sister Julia 6.
So much has happened and so much knowledge has been spread since the year her diagnosis was explained to us. We thank you for your work that makes and will continue to make a difference to affected families. We support your mission and we are so grateful for all help she's been given. Words cannot describe our thankfulness.

..so now I will not be giving this to them.
Pie Fail!
it was my first time to go to a car show here in Cayman Islands and unfortunately there were only two cars registered for the show...these cars (pictures taken) were actually not featured in the car show...they were parked in front of the entrance to entice guest to come in and see two cars...what a bummer...for a $10KY entrance...its very not worth it...enjoy...

A idéia era muito boa, mas esse dia estava calor demais, eu estava sem muita paciência e a foto acabou saindo de qualquer jeito.
Muita gente me falou que a foto está boa, mas na minha opinião falta alguma coisa... Ou então sobra!
O cenário está aparecendo demais, e está muito em foco também.
O relógio está mal posicionado, e há um reflexo que não consegui tirar nem a pau!
No entanto, gostei tanto da idéia que refiz a composição semanas depois, com melhor resultado: Variadas0021

Not this one. 15 minutes of trying every trick in the book, and I decided it was time to try violence. Flimsy plastic jar, you are no match for my advanced knifing skills. I like to call this photo "don't @^#$% with me you $%(*&$% jar of peanutbutter!" Or: "Seriously. Get between a pregnant woman and her morning peanutbutter at your own peril."
