Minolta x700, Canon AE-1, failed development. When you learn, you learn! Sharp magenta coloration due to low temperature in development, causing emulsion to not fully degrade. Highlights and shadows have extreme editing to save any detail left on film. It was a beautiful day on the dunes, nonetheless.
Northern Lights (FAIL)
Decided to chance our luck with the recent amazing photos that have appeared of the northern lights from Scotland. Sadly we only saw a couple a flashes of it in the night sky!
This is a great example of how NOT to take a photo of a snowboarder jumping. It's so wrong in so many ways...
This was the first time I tried to make a dish named Cotechinata. Oh, it looks delicious here. But let me tell you, every bit of that white part is pork fat. Pork fat, while delicious in small amounts, is over-powering in amounts this large. We couldn't eat it, even though it tasted good. The filling and the tomato sauce it was cooked in were consumed quite heartily, however.
I remember reading in the El Paso paper about a woman trekking up the Franklins with concrete and water in order to build a memorial to the B-36 crew that crashed and died near this spot. The Texas Parks people got after her because the land is part of the Franklin Mountain State Park system. At some point they were going to make her take it down but obviously that was a stupid demand.
At any rate, that woman was a better man than I am because she had to schlepp water and cement up some steep slopes with no path.
I don't remember the rest of the story or her name, I tried to google for it but found nothing. Too bad.
I have two IDs on FlickR

Have a great day! Live is short - Live it to the max!
Please do not leave any notes on my images.
This was back in May. Never place your camera near a skateboard rail.
Ok so it has been awhile...
-summer was nice. and now it has ended.
- school started.
-met a foreign exchange student from Spain (she's my neighbor!) and I HAVE to photograph her, it's a must.
-skateboard got ran over. still usable though. t'was a horrible occasion.
that's what has been happening...
Expect some film soon; I went to Walgreens today. Film is expensive.
They're still papered on the side facing the new building- could make out a Little Mermaid but not much else.
Some guy who hasn't got a clue. You can add anything to AOT, he should know that since he was in all the recent variations, yet he doesn't.
I intended to make a happy face for the neighbor's kids, but it ended up looking like Hannibal Lecter's mask.
..so now I will not be giving this to them.
Pie Fail!
Another pretty lame and shoddy edit. I'd love for it to look a little more realistic. Oh well, practice makes perfect, so they say. I failed my driving theory today and this kinda' sums up how I feel. Oh well, I have another booked for the end of the month. The most annoying thing about today was that I failed by one mark overall.
The FRIENDLY FIRE conference wishes to explore how we could embrace conflicts in order to make societies more democratic. To begin with, the project asks: What is it for any person to become a citizen, today? What is it for citizens and non-citizens alike to become political actors in fields of dissent?
The 17th BG Annual Conference took place November 2–4, 2017 at ZK/U – Center for Arts and Urbanistics, Siemensstrasse 27, 10551 Berlin.

Boourns. Sucky dress.
Simplicity 3835, which was actually pretty easy. I botched up the zipper pretty good, and the collar is really chokey. Yuck. Fail.
Fabric is "homespun simple check" from Cia's Palette, which I love.
