Bucky the Beaver had been working on this 20 cm young cottonwood all last autumn. But he miscalculated and felled it too close to the adjacent tree in which it hung up. So he chocked it up as a learning experience and left it hanging. It will be interesting to see if it ever does fall on its own. Cottonwood Island Park, Prince George, BC. April 21, 2022.

Isn't it great when web site owners forget to update bits of the standard software install?
Our room is apparently not ventilated enough for a gas fire in the lounge. Not that we ever use it anyway, at least never during the day with Joshua around.
The condensation inside this double glazed unit tells me that the seal has failed.
That means that in the near future I will have to go shopping for a new window ;o)

Hazel-nut trees vie for space, with traditional vineyards.
On a windless day (because of the factory), u can recognise the aroma miles & miles away.
Those in our group with hired german cars (u know who u are !) by not using their own Tom-Tom GPS's... were constantly getting LOST. Alba was the ONE town they could always orientate back too ... by following their nose.
nb:
If driving in Italy - well worth loading up your Tom Tom and taking it with you OS.
(Alister never got lost. So easy driving in Italy).
Oddly (everyone else's) on-board vehicle GPS's and Google, had a 40% FAIL rate ... driving thru rural areas.
But Piedmont's vineyards, aren't yet a foreigners mecca. Tourists here are Italian. Hence road signs (once off the autostrada) can be confusing or non-existent.
failed, but i still wanted to put this up.
Since the pano is such a wide image, it's hard to appreciate just how big in the sky this storm cloud was. It took me 5 pics at 18mm to fit it all in. It was raining a couple hundred yards out from the pier, but here it seems so far away.
and you should really really view this large!

Woodstock Police responded to the the area of Route 47 and McConnell Rd. for a truck hauling hay that impacted the railroad bridge and experienced a load shift. The roadway was shut down for around 10 minutes while public works assisted in righting the hay load.

A " Fail Pig" graffiti found at Jl Fatmawati Jakarta is a testament of the current Twitter craze in Indonesia.
Mac OS X 10.5 install failed from install disc, and the error messages were always blaming NetInstall failing.
Freightliner 66 617 / 66 603 passing Heamies Farm working 6B71 Tunstead to Northampton loaded stone. I assume 66 603 may have failed as this service was running late
Aerial view from of boom meant to protect the coast of Raccoon Island, a barrier island off Terrebonne Parish drifts away from the islands shore where officials reported oil washed up on May 13, 2010 is a bird sanctuary . Splotches of oil and oil sheen from the B. P. well that has been leaking oil into the Gulf of Mexico since April 20th 2010, are visible in the waters around the island. The island is the breeding ground for numerous species of bird including Brown Pelican, Louisiana's State bird. A top of the table Moidlands League D1 match that completeley failed to live up to its billing,Leicester Road appeared to have come for a draw and maybe Bromsgroves thoughts were with next weeks FA Vase tie but either way it was a very unmemorable match
The good news: Three years after Webshots was sold, they’ve finally relaunched the ProShots section of the site.
The bad news: Sadly, they made an amateur Flash mistake. Fail. Notice the Flash plugin failure notice, next to my plugins list showing I have Flash 10.0.42 installed.
To add insult to injury, the (ugly, as always) advertisement pictured on the page is Flash, and loaded it just fine.
*rolls eyes*
I made designs for the redesign of ProShots over ≤i≥four years ago (not this pictured design, which I make absolutely no claim to), and CNET Networks sadly never had enough resources to complete it (also fail). Webshots was sold by CNET Networks to American Greetings Interactive three years ago, and I left at that point.
