This is a stick of ram that our office ordered. There are so many problems with this page:
1) Where in the world is , , US?!?!
2) Why do they have to list the city and state twice?
3) We're in Missoula, MT. It arrived in Missoula, MT. Then, it left for Salt Lake City. Huh?
A split second before this flag was all droopy and sad looking. Great! (I thought) so I wandered up to take the picture and a gust of wind filled it out again.
Ah well. :)
both of these are failures of composition. i have no idea what i was attempting to do with either photo.
Greenpeace Activists John Shumaker, left, and Jennifer Thomas, hold a Security Inspection Failure banner at Dow's Texas Operations facility in Freeport, Texas, Sept. 7, 2010. The plant is Dow's largest integrated site. The three major complexes — Plant A, Plant B and Oyster Creek — operate as an integrated unit serving all eight of Dow's Global Business Groups. The site contains more than 3,200 acres of waterways and pipeline corridors and houses more than 1,900 buildings across the site.
The products manufactured on site are transported by rail, truck, marine vessels and pipeline to customers around the world. Texas Operations manufactures 44 percent of Dow's products sold in the United States and more than 21 percent of Dow's products sold globally.

Completely failed attempt to make a panorama of 5 pix of Rotterdam Harbour.
I am unable to generate a decent (straight) horizon and have been struggeling with the seams for over an hour.
So here it is: an example of a messed up panorama. Good thing about Flickr: no need to throw an hour's worth of work away, just put it online ;-)
This Leviton GFCI outlet failed today and cut off power to all the outlets in my garage and including the garage door opener. It would not reset.
I purchased a Legrande branded replacement GFCI outlet at the local hardware store.
As soon as I replaced it and turned on the power it would trip and would not reset. Either I had a fault in the wiring or this is a defective brand new outlet.
I then went to another hardware store and purchased a Leviton GFCI outlet and installed it. After wiring and powering up the outlet I now have power to all my outlets and the garage door opener.
First thing tomorrow I will return this defective GFCI outlet.
Made some FAIL stickers. I put this one on some art that a visiting kid made and left on the floor next to my desk.
Advertisement for a local printer with a spelling error. (Bullitins should be Bulletins). This looks like things I've seen on the Fail Blog.

I have been to Galveston on several occasions to capture the sunset and what a gorgeous sunset I have been privy too on several occasions, but because by nature, I am not an early bird (unless I'm being paid..aka...to get to work early), I do not rise. I am a night owl and I love it.
However, the sunrise mission has plagued me for the longest time, and so finally I decided to wake my arse up and get on the road to get to the beach. I set my alarm for 5am, ended up waking up at 4 (wtf), and didn't want to go back to sleep b/c you know how that goes....oh I only closed my eyes for a second....so I wait and wait and I find out online that sunrise happens at 7:21 to be exact. Of course I leave the house late (and mind you this is an hour and some change ride from my house) and so I'm going along and at first everything was grand and then I started to yawn, so I put the a/c and the music on blast until I got to the beach at exatly 4 minutes until sunrise. I rush over to the sand, set up my camera...its only me and the fisherman this early...and wait...and, um wait, and yawn...and...do you see this picture. This is all I got after an hour and 15 minutes to be exact. Somebody..and I'm not naming any names here...forgot to check the weather report. Heavy clouds all day. SUNRISE FAIL.
Not only am I pissed this is the only shot of even a hint of sun, but now I have to drive back because nothing is open this early other than food places and I'm physically exhausted. Somewhere on the way back I did unfortunately close my eyes while driving...but thankfully the rrrrrrrr sound of the freeway caution bumps jutted me back awake. (Believe me, it was terrifying).
I get home and I went directly into coma mode and slept well into the 2pm hour in the day.

Trying to make a redscale batch I think the room wasn't dark enough.
Tratando de hacer un rollo redscale creo que mi habitación no estaba lo suficientemente oscura.
So occasionally my incredible photographic prowess lets me down and this is the result. The battery in this pack of PZ600 had run down and so didn't eject properly. Boo.
There are so many things wrong with this. It's supposed to be a runway for a kids fashion show. So what do they decide to line it with? How about a hundred glass tubes of mercury? And if a kid stomps on one and it busts will we clean it up? NO! The only thing that could make this better is if they were set to flash off and on rapidly during the show. Way to show basic knowledge of CFLs! Everyone involved in the design and construction of this stage should serve jail time.
A match programme from the South Wales club's only season as Rugby Football League members. Hosts Swinton Lions issued this 32-pager (£1.20) for the ill-fated Welshmen's August 1996 visit to Gigg Lane during UK professional rugby league's debut summer season. South Wales fought back strongly from 4-22 down at half-time. Swinton, watched by a crowd of 1,477, needed a late try to secure a 26-16 victory.

I made a cake tonight. Total fail! Went in the oven for over 60 minutes, instead of the 30-40 it was supposed to, and still didn't set properly.
Just took it out and it's all oily and not really edible, apart from the top which is crisp and a bit like fudge.
I checked and I really did nothing wrong. I've done it once before, and failed then too but not really the same way (I suspect the form is the wrong shape, but that could only account for some of it), and I used the same recipe a few times to make cupcakes. Weird. Also I've used this form a lot, for all sorts of cakes which are really supposed to be in other kinds of forms.
