Another one taken back in August 2011 in the desert about 40 km inland from Dubai.
Variations of words jabal, jabel, jebal, jebel, jbel, djebel, jibal, etc. have been used for the Arabic word "jah-bahl", 'جبل', meaning "mountain, hill or slope" Wikipedia

Tried a new place this year. Picked it badly, didn't get too much in the way of high shots due to my position. So this is an amalgamation of 18 shots played around together in Photoshop.

with my camera buddy, playing cameras, visiting the seals at Horsey Gap, amongst other things. We were lucky at Horsey, the tide was high meaning that the seals which are hauled up on the beach at the moment for their annual moult were quite close, and easy to find - all taken with a long lens and cropped off.
It was absolutely FREEZING on the beach, but beautifully sunny.
