Nature Quote of the Day
George Bernard Shaw mentioned and I nodded:)

Prompt: A grand, painterly historical oil painting depicting Christopher Columbus as a visionary explorer. He stands on a rocky coastline overlooking the sea, wearing late-15th-century European attire with a dark cap, fur-trimmed cloak, and red garments. In one hand he holds a navigational instrument, and in the other a rolled parchment map. Behind him, sailing ships with billowing sails approach the horizon on a sunlit ocean. A globe, open books, and maps rest near his feet, symbolizing exploration and knowledge. Ethereal clouds fill the sky, forming symbolic visions above: a divine, radiant female figure in flowing robes gesturing toward the horizon, distant castles, and ghostly ship silhouettes, suggesting destiny and faith. Warm golden light, dramatic clouds, and rich earth tones dominate the scene. Highly detailed, classical realism, Renaissance-inspired oil painting style, epic scale, soft brush textures, cinematic lighting, historical allegory, masterwork quality.

Living in the country, any length of hair on a dog that chases quail, is difficult to maintain. As her hearing has declined, we've thinned down most of the bulk on the ears. Hasn't made a difference.
No tricks, look at the large version View On Black. Texture added for background.

While out at my favorite spot for my sunset captures, I noticed the store windows had recently been cleaned. I took this reflection of a sunset and myself also. Lol.

Let the new night bring you peace
And the promise of tomorrow,
Where we can wake to a new beginning.
Tomorrow, I'll have only lost their faces-
My friends and family,
Memories of all we had
And the times we should have lived,
And tomorrow America just might fall apart.
tomorrow, tell me,
Where will you wake up?
Beyond title, beyond lease, careers and laws,
Something more than borders on a map...
And the sun's always rising in the sky somewhere,
And if young hearts should explode
From all the lies they've been told...
To live through one night like this,
I would trade it for the silence...

Since centuries is the pomegranate, either in Greek the Rodi , considered as the symbol for fertility and happiness. So they threw the ancient Greeks for the involvement of a new apartment, pomegranate on the pavement for the door broken. This would give so much happiness and prosperity for the house and its inhabitants, if the pomegranate red, shiny seeds is rich. Today exists this use still, but mainly on the last night of the year or the first day of the new year. The whole family leaves the house after the broken throwing a pomegranate on the pavement in front of the door, to enter the house again. In step with the first pend right foot on the threshold. Because this would congratulate also for the residents. All this for a good year with good luck and good fortune.
We also know in Greece the saying: "He has the pomegranate broken'. That means as much as he has made a good start.
So good fortune and luck for all of you.

My buddy Tyler and I went out and shot a few pictures of his 1975 Lincoln. This car is a BEAST to drive it. It's so long I couldn't help but laugh the whole time I was riding in it! This was the rig shot we came up with. Second time through was less stressful as far as the setup! I tried doing a bit of an old film looking edit as this car is a 75 and just seemed like this suited the edit. View this one large to see it best. I find small doesn't work well with this one!

Henningsvær, a picturesque fishing village scattered across several small islands in Norway's Lofoten archipelago, is often described as one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Henningsvær is dramatically framed by the jagged, snow-dusted peaks of the Lofoten Mountains rising steeply from the sea, creating a stunning, almost theatrical backdrop. The village is entirely surrounded by the deep, clear, often turquoise waters of the Vestfjorden. Traditional red, yellow, and ochre wooden fishermen's cabins cling to the rocky shores, often perched on stilts over the water. The Famous Football Field, the photogenic Henningsvær Stadion, perched on its own rocky islet and surrounded on three sides by sea, is a stunning symbol of village life embedded in the landscape.
It is a place that etches itself into memory with its unique blend of rugged grandeur and intimate charm. It's less like a postcard and more like stepping into a living painting – a breathtaking testament to the raw and refined beauty of coastal Norway.
